I only read until chapter 20, boring that's all I can say, the plot follows the same plot as the comic. MC didn't do much change like when there was dialogue he didn't even take the initiative to speak just kept quiet and thought in his mind even when Tang San asked Yu Xiaogang to be his teacher MC just followed Tang san and I stopped reading there, I think the MC is really just a side character who followed Tang San like a chick. I'm just summarizing what I read, maybe some of you have read up to 20+ chapters, if so can you summarize the progress.
Solid novel, good characters, good pacing, actual ending which is nice
Love this story. It is one of my favourite webnovels. But I am frustrated because the chapters are not updated anymore. There is also no news about why is this so.
It’s a really good read but it is taking to long for the author to even finish it, I get you have other book but maybe focus on one book at a time

And then her father-in-law, a man who's clearly tough and capable, stands before police officers and essentially says: we don't deserve your time, we've already taken too much. The family's emotional landscape is so rich. Zhao Cuilan's internal monologue about her second son's legacy—"These were her second son's only remaining legacy—if anything happened to them, she wouldn't have the face to meet him in the afterlife"—this is grief distilled to its purest form. Not wailing or dramatic mourning, but a quiet, relentless love for the children his blood continues through. And Si Yueyue's reaction to all of this, her genuine tears and her promise to take care of herself so she can "watch An An and Lele grow up"—it's not melodramatic because the author has earned every emotional beat. This family's love for each other is the emotional anchor of the entire story, and it's what makes everything else matter.
