A boring novel with next to nothing going on for it. The death reincarnation system is a bit novel but that doesn't matter since everything about this novel from the protagonist, characters, story, world background, objectives to even the overall vibe just comes off as dull and lifeless.
Even when reading a bad novel, I'm a little invested in whatever the protagonist is upto but here we can see early on that his lack of personality is incredibly stunning. You thought generic isekai protagonists or CN protagonists were generic? Think again.
This MC is probably the most soulless MC I've come across period. I didn't know protagonists could have less personality than cardboard, I'm astonished. He goes through (added up) decades of a tragic life but comes out of it unaffected, basically the same unbearably uninteresting fellow he's always been. The man has the personality of stale water.
I'm singling out the protagonist here but this could honestly be applied to everything, the death simulator aside, this is banal at best and offensively boring at worst. 0.5/5
Do to my love for cultivation novels I'd say this is a hidden gem. I like it alot so far. Continue to work hard author XD!
Thank for the beautiful story Author. I like the world and characters you created. And i hope you would until the very end. Stort is a bit slow-paced but i like the way you write except grammar. But i too am not a native English speaker so i am not affected. But you can take and editor. Therea are some readers who wants to do it and if you create discord you can communicate and take their help. And i want to ask do you think about increasing the daily updates. Even though not everyday once in a while could be very good for us readers. Again thanks for the story and i hope you continue the writinh until the end .
The characters were well-developed and relatable, and the plot was both thought-provoking and emotionally charged. I found myself completely immersed in the story, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of connection to the characters and their struggles
A very nice novel and unique novel show (I am not a bot)£££))&:&4£;&;&;’dmskdkdmdjdwuahahsjejejrdkdkekekekeoeeoeieieoeordooeorrorororororoee
Your story holds potential. I can see that you have a very clear image in your head of how your story looks and plays out, but due to a lack of rhythm in your writing, a protagonist that could be better developed, and repeated grammar and sentence structure mistakes, it fails to come across.
Overall, I believe you can get there. You just have to keep practicing. You might want to consider hiring an editor, a least until your English improves.
I wish you the best of luck!
Like the first chapter cause its obviously well thought with detail and so long you could have posted 2 chapters effort shows. Seems like it will have a future.
This is only a review on eight somewhat short chapters, but the story is well on its way to the main section (from the synopsis anyway) to the forming and fighting of Maddoxx’s squad.
The writing is pretty average, it’s neither terrible nor great. There are a few missed capitalizations, but other than that, sentences are structurally correct. For details on the settings or mood, it’s mostly sound effects that are employed, so other forms of showing the story rather than telling could be added.
Story-wise, the plot is understandable, but it has a few gaps that might be filled in later such as why Mr. Golden has a specific interest in making Maddoxx into a man and whether he’s done this before in some kind of program rich men like to pass the days doing; why Dimitri is in the cell/how he got there, if there are any other prisoners undergoing the same thing as Maddoxx if not, why single him out for torture; why the Russian mafia is breaking in and the possible connection to Dimitri.
The torturing is somewhat reminiscent of Tokyo Ghoul. The character development from the torture could be a little more dramatically and believably done. Or perhaps added to that, more backstory and fleshing out of the MC. To simply say he’s an average dude with no dreams isn’t enough. Everyone has some kind of wish if not a dream, or some desire or hope. If he’s really so apathetic, then there should be some reason or experience that makes him that way. Or with the torturing, build up that madness and growth bit by bit.
Dimitri at this point is better fleshed out/original than the MC. The defining reason why is his swallowing of the “gum.”
I can definitely see this becoming a good story once the plot gaps, descriptions, and character development improves/get filled in. It’s just a few steps away, but nice work so far!
Maybe this is too early for a review since there is only one chapter. But this story definitely have potential. I will keep reading and keep the spirits high author.
Nice story. I like it so far. Remind me of reverend insanity. No romance so far. Anyway hope not a harem. Harem seem unrealistic to me. Also hope there is unreasonable plot armor.
The one thing that sort of bug me. Is how grave robbers come the day he woke up. Like out of last 3 month they come now. Right when he woke up. Out of the last 90 days. They come now. Isnt that a little coincidental.
