Okay, I need to talk about this plot progression because holy shit. We go from Chapter 27 where Lin Wan is basically nursing her half-dead brother in a ruined temple, feeding him cornbread slurry, to Chapter 34 where she's scaling a cliff face like it's nothing and coming back with enough meat to feed them for days AND a sixty-year-old medicinal herb worth a fortune. That is NOT a normal protagonist arc. This is a retired special forces operative stuck in a peasant girl's body, and the story knows it. The structure here is brilliant because it mirrors her recovery. First, stabilize the brother (healing scene with Spirit Spring water). Then, secure food (the hunting sequence). Then, secure long-term survival (the Fo-ti herb). Each beat escalates the stakes naturally—starvation threatens them, so she hunts; hunting isn't enough, so she finds treasure. It's a clean, escalating chain and I love how the author doesn't rush any of it. The cliff scene especially—she finds the herb, climbs down, her footing breaks, she's hanging by one bloody hand—and instead of some deus ex machina saving her, she BITES HER TONGUE to summon strength and KICKS herself back up. That's not plot convenience, that's CHARACTER. The author planted her assassin background early enough that every skill she displays feels earned, not random. One thing that caught me off guard: the Spirit Spring resonance pulling her toward the cliff. I didn't expect a supernatural compass mechanic this early. It's a nice touch that ties her healing ability to the plot's treasure-hunting element. Sets up future encounters with more spiritual resources, I'm guessing. The pacing from night to dawn also works perfectly. Starting in darkness, moving through tension, and emerging into morning light with both food and fortune in hand—it's structurally satisfying in a way that makes you want to immediately start the next chapter.
I just finished the raws the story was rushed and the ending felt bland.the Mc created a cast system with his nation as first class citizens and some other nations that don't like Chinese as third class citizens super heavy racism beyond the limit of nationalism

well, the story passes the message but I would say a great job to the author, managing to get all characters in place and hoping to see more work than this in the future.
Yeah, this one's an oldie. A proper chip off the block. It's written by Doulou Dalu's author, so you know what to expect. A pretty-boy, some side-kicks with pretty awesome abilites, a few beauties here and there. I personally got tired reading it during the middle and gave up, but kudos to you guys reading this.

Anyway enough of that, I can only say that this novel was so over Underrated! WRITING QUALITY - I really can't give the best answer on this as I know that my writing quality compared to Evil_Dragon (The author) was so very inferior. But I was serious to give it a Complete star! Maybe in early chapters it have some little mistake (I think) but if I can understand it, I know you all can do the same. In terms of writing quality, If I compare all the webnovels I reads, this one was surely in my top 10.STORY DEVELOPMENT - This was the highlight!! The story was so awesome that you will skip sleeping! though I know that we all habitually do it everyday, but I swear that you will have a valid reason why you skip sleeping if you read this. One of the part I like on this story was the scheming and planning the Mc made, but beside his great talent on it, there is still some opponent that can hinder his plan and even change it. This was also the reason what make it interesting, A tough opponent make the story more amazing, Though his plan fail, he was not discourage. It even help his character development! The only problem I have is that It gave more pov time to some new character that popped up in the latter chapter that in every 10 chapter it only give mc a little bit pov, though it needed to develop the character I still got bored on it, still I continue to read cause I know that there will be more interesting in the future. CHARACTER DESIGN - The character design was also good, especially to women GAHHAHAHHHA I loved it!!! UPDATING STABILITY - well I don't have a difinite answer on this as I only started reading this yesterday so find it on your own GHAHAHHAHA by the way I already caught on the latest chapter, so I really don't know the upadate stability GHAHAHHAHAWORLD BACKGROUND - GAHAHHAHA this one was also good, in the latest chapter there is only 2 country that have been really describe while the other one was still on going while the last was only mentioned. Though there is still many more country or they called here in this novels kingdom, empire or some any name GAHHAHHA The thing I like on these two kingdoms was they have different culture, the one kingdom called their school academy while the other one sect, so I'm even more curios the others GAHHAHHAHAHLAST BUT NOT THE LEAST. - I love the way the mc handles his woman, and there is always a reason behind that. Though he really don't engage them in romantic way, he still engage them in physical and also he was not the one who take initiative.There is two type of how mc only interact with women. 1. HIS LIFE AND THE BENEFITS 2. I really like the story but I'm disappointed at the translation speed it says that it is supposed to be 5 chapters a week but it is less, since the novel is 1266 chapter it will take long time even at 5 chapters and even longer with a translator that doesn't keep up the speed:(
Finally a good story after a long time, if you have read earlier trial reads then you would know how bad they were, some would even mix 'he' and 'she', making our reading experience annoying.Okay enough talk about that, let's talk about this novel. Here you will find low grammatical errors, story is well built out and characters are fleshed out well. So you can totally enjoy it.If I have to give out stars it would be 4/5 which is pretty good in my opinion, so give it a try and if you like it, vote it.Current reading status:-30 chapters

The is pretty good considering how many novel like this have the same genre of choices system and how the author takes on how to run a business is pretty good and I like how the MC is not super smart but not an idiot as well. Overall it has a good potential hope this gets picks cause I like business genre novel.
