An amazing novel marred by terrible translation. I love this author, and their other works on this site have been translated quite well - or maybe just edited well. However, it's legible and consistent, whereas the quality on an already flawed translation drops drastically around the 770s in this book, and it becomes practically unintelligible. Don't set yourself up for disappointment.

This is a very fun and enjoyable read. I did spot some punctuation mistakes. But overall they did not impact my time reading.I look forward to reading more.
Bad.Start was good. I thought that it would focus on farming due to the cottage on the thumbnail. But no, it only started that way. It quickly turned into a generic xianxia novel, with all the killing: revenge killing, political killing, fight for the throne killing, join me or die killing, you offend me i kill you killing.Nothing about this novel is "carefree".

I started reading this when it first came out, at first it was funny and great. Lately not so great. Chapters are messed up have to flip back and forth through the pages to read it.weeks of no updates then you get an update and the story skips 3 or 4 pages to the end of an arc you can't read because the pages aren't there. So sad. Maybe it will get fixed to make it readable again. I hope. I loved this novel but now, not worth it.
This desperately needs an editor and someone who understands chinese'isms. The english seems to be a word for word literal translation making it very difficult to understand what is happening.
It seems alright, however the synnopsis was confusing, grammar mistakes, the characters don't feel at all real or unique and I don't really get the spark in reading where I expect something from it. A good attempt however and I wish you well in writing.
Broken translation, messy language, messy character names, not really recommended......................!!!
