The series started out with a lot of promise. It quickly (within 5 chapters) devolves into the most stereotypical example of a generic xianxia you can imagine, with idiotic enemies inventing nonsensical reasons to come after the MC and acctractive women falling over themselves to give him presents at their first meetings.The translations are good, but the story is utter garbage.

The writing is good and easy to understand. It is full of cliches and common tropes of reincarnated villain stories, but that doesn't mean it is bad. If you've read and enjoyed other reincarnated villain novels you will probably like this one.

Ok, so mc have a 'special' soul, he learned haki in minutes and for some reason he has mutiple personality disorder after merging with buggy's body. I have no problems with that, but when his bouty hunter friend shows up, the story starts it's own fanfiction. I don't like that. From that point on everything is not that fun to read.
A cultivation novel without a bit.ch crap mc trying to be a young master or a fk head...a really great novel if i should say so...cz it actually focuses on mc development...and his character as well...like nobody is an all knowing crap all the time they have to learn...though sometimes mc will make some unreasonable choices BUT only in pre chaps...not the start ot true story...so don't focus on that...also has a great focus on relationship development...though it will be slow but steady...unlike 'picking Pokemon' harem type development...where everything goes cz it should be...?........well anyway give it a read and will know what a slow pace peaceful life with adventure romance and action in cultivation world....?????

It's tranquil, almost dreamlike. But then the camera pans inside a cramped apartment where a family is discussing whether their daughter should be sent to the countryside or married off to a man she's never met. The contrast between the poetic exterior and the suffocating interior is genius. The world outside is beautiful and quiet; the world inside is a cage. And the period details — they're not just set dressing, they're the actual mechanism of the plot. The sent-down youth program (zhiqing), the factory job system where every position is already occupied, the military families holding real power, the bride price economy, the He family's obsession with descendants — all of this isn't background, it's the prison walls. Jinhuan has exactly two exits from her current life: a job that doesn't exist, or a marriage that's really a transaction. The government policy IS the antagonist in these chapters. There's also this one detail that stuck with me — Old Wang's daughter who went out to the toilet at night and disappeared without a trace. The father mentions it almost casually, like it's just another fact of life. But it's horrifying. It's the kind of thing that makes you understand why Jinhuan would rather walk into an arranged marriage than face the unknown of the countryside. The world the author built here is so real it makes your skin crawl.
