"Sister Zhi! This is not a date!" the Emperor's daughter exclaimed in mighty embarrassment.
The premise:MC tries to blackmail ML into taking over (read: working for) her family’s dying company for free. She stalks him and shamelessly tries to cash in on his raping her, something that she had told him he wouldn’t have to take responsibility for. Now that she’s in the position of weakness, she ignores everything she did in that situation - cutting ties, for one - to pursue her family’s agenda. Oh, and by the way... the ML has superpowers. (This feels like a random add-on that just appears in chapter 16 without any foreshadowing.)This woman is shameless, manipulative, and idiotic, and yet comes off as a shy, helpless girl. Even worse, the ML still loves her. He’s also an idiot. What kind of relationship should he have with a girl he raped? What kind of feelings should he have for a girl who is blackmailing him? He probably only pays attention to her because one of his superpowers only applies to her. (Also known as the plot forcing them together. See: Twilight.) If you like this type of idiotic pairing, please keep reading. Otherwise, kick this trash out of your library.
Echidna : "You are strong Jens. I am serious regarding that matter. However, simply defeating Gluttony does not guarantee the return of this woman. You lack knowledge regarding such things. However, I already stated it multiple times, if you would forge a contract with me, I'm sure we would be victorious. Thus, we could even learn how to return the blue haired woman."
Okay with it meant that he would mean that he could tolerate her actions, assuming that she would not cross the unknown territory of his bottom line. While not caring meant that she could do whatever she wants without caring how he thought of her.
You said everything I wanted to say.
「Hey you. That's why I'm telling you to stop growing monsters. 」
Shh! let me tell you this! We always read novels with a weak side female character that their reasons on the novel are nothing but showing their beautiful face, sexy body, romantic interest, burden, stupid woman, the reason the MC to get stronger, etc, etc. Because of this... I ended up staying away from any novel that has a female main character. why? because they are weak... oh no.. you are wrong... in this novel... you will find an amazing woman that change my view to female MC. She is strong, dependable, not a good target to bully, and she is clever! Trust me and try to read this! Throw away your thought of a female MC is weak and a burden to the roadside just like I did! And you will definitely like this novel! why did I'm doing a review when I said I'm not going to write one? Nah, just go to the forum, u see... there is an event there... So I spent my time doing this. I recommend this novel. I really give you my view. But it was a waste if I didn't post it here. So here it is! I hope you guys give this a chance. You will like it!
I need to talk about how the author controls pacing across these five chapters because it's absolutely masterful. Chapter 14 starts slow—Lin Yue trading firewood for fish, establishing the survival stakes, showing us her resourcefulness. Then Chapter 15 hits us with the village encounter, the gossip, the gathering crowd. By the time we reach the stone mill, the tension is already building. Grandma Gu's internal panic, the villagers' expectations, Lin Yue's calculated performance—it's all ticking like a bomb. And then Chapter 16? The Bodhisattva dream reveal. The author could have ended it there, but instead she pulls back and shows us the Gu family's explosion. The quarrel that 'shook heaven and earth'—this is where the pacing really shines. We go from Lin Yue's peaceful fish porridge to the Gu family's full-blown chaos, and the contrast is delicious. The structure here is like a rollercoaster: build tension, release it, then build it again with higher stakes. Each chapter ends on a note that makes you immediately want to read the next. The stone mill scene ends with Lin Yue walking away victorious. The Gu family scene ends with their house in turmoil. The Bodhisattva scene ends with Dogdan's fierce vow of silence. These aren't just chapter endings—they're hooks that physically pull you forward. The author understands that pacing isn't about speed; it's about controlling when the reader breathes. And she makes us hold our breath at exactly the right moments.
so far i LOVE this novel but after hundreds of chapters, the separation of one chapter in two/three separate chapters too much.At chapter one thousand, the actual chapter is just in the 400s, which is crazy because you'd have to spend money to read those extra chapters that were separated
I love this novel. It’s one of the good ones of this platform but that’s the problem. IT’S TOO GOOD. I want more but I’m poor so I can’t buy coins for chapters. I can only unlock 3 chapters a day via adds so please I beg you add more free chapters For those who are asking why and how is this novel good well firstly the Mc is likeable(in my opinion) and the character interactions don’t feel awkward or strained to me. Also where I’m at (chapter 71) all characters actually have a brain in issues and it’s not a problem that can be solved easily that will be prolonged for idk struggle even though it really isn’t. Back to the point there are issues that can’t be solved with simple solutions.Sorry if this didn’t really make sense going to sleep soon. Last message give more free chapters I beg you.
Is the mc reincarnator from Earth ? as this is something that I always look for in Eastern fantasy novels
The writing us phenomenal but still need work on grammar and punctuation. Overall, the plot is well written and guides the readers to its intended outcome. I've read some novels with the similar premise, but they were poorly written. How do you feel writing a story that captivates my eye?
