I'm really enjoying reading this. The chapters move along easily and I'm compelled to keep reading.
question I'm on chapter 60. are the two main characters brother and sister?
I really enjoyed reading this book. The characters and their personalities were well thought out. Looking forward to reading more from this author.
Okay so let me just say this: the whole amnesia setup is such a classic trope but the author manages to make it feel fresh because of how they layer the reveals. You've got Qin Ya waking up with no memories, Shi Jianchuan clearly hiding something about their past, AND then Wan Li shows up like a plot device from hell. The structure here is really clever—each chapter peels back another layer. First we learn they were heading for divorce, then we get the backstory about Qin Ya's obsession with Wan Li, then the kidnapping incident, and now the love triangle confrontation at the negotiation meeting. It's like an onion and I'm crying because it's so good. The scene where Qin Xiao drops all this information on Qin Ya is a masterclass in exposition without it feeling forced. Instead of a boring info-dump, it comes through a sibling argument with sarcasm and attitude. And that dream sequence? Chilling. The author doesn't even confirm if it actually happened or not, which keeps the mystery alive. My only complaint is that some plot threads feel a little too convenient—like how Wan Li just happens to be the perfect rival AND has a business connection that creates immediate conflict. But honestly, I'm not mad about it because the story keeps moving forward with enough momentum that I don't care. Who's going to win this marriage? Who's going to win Qin Ya's heart? What really happened between them before the amnesia? I need to know.
Need more chapters
This is a great book filled with adventure, heart stopping moments and will definitely keep you on the edge of your seat! The book is well written and i dont recall seeing any grammatical or spelling errors, which allowes the reader to just enjoy the book as it is.
The writer obviously doesn’t speak English very well and it comes through in the story
