i realy liked this story. It's one of the only chinese novels i have enjoyed, the only one (that i read) that juste doesn't say "i won because i have depest background or because i'am just the strongest". The main character morality is not as devious as describ in other comments... i didn't get where the rape part occured... anyway, a lot of chinese saying. it's give me kind of "karate kid movies" with shameless masters instead feeling with a lot of life teaching sentence that i found great.
i realy like to travel in another way of wiewing the world through chinese culture viewpoint. it's quite a different view from koreen or japonese one and this book give a realy different vibe on the point.

Nope, the one that I've read like a year ago is very very similar to warlock in the magus world with the power system being the same and it's basically witmw but reversed. The main character is named eli who's very similar to leylin and he's a mage or magus in a world filled with warlocks

I enjoy both FL (Filler Light) and ML (Main Love Interest) stories because they boast engaging plots, well-paced humor, and logical narratives. I read this to get smutty but g*dd*mn this novel got some heavy plotting in it. It starts like it was a wish-fulfilment novel but gets better around 30-50 chaps, when Mykel Alester (our MC) starts to mess around with Gods and also starts laying down his plans to screw over the Protag of his novel. After that it just keeps diving deeper into the PLOT to the point that even after 400+ chaps there's still twists & surprises waiting. No plotholes. No Plot-armor. Cunning MC. Climax is hype.
I love the characters & interactions in this novel. I wish i could forget this, so i could enjoy it again.

This novel is actually heavily inspired by the book 'The Game: Penetrating the Secret Society of Pickup Artists' by Neil Strauss (Style), im reading it currently and im like 'this is the same from the webnovel i've read before'
