Why are there no updates?

story line was good. some repeat spots and word mix ups that sometimes made it difficult. overall enjoyable, would live to read book 2
I was hoping John would overhear the truth about Shannon & Sherry's parents & all they did to her & how they were the ones behind what Sherry did. But looks like that still hasn't happened. Is Shannon still in jail for attempted murder? what about Julie? can Sherry tell John the truth already?
I agree I can't believe they wasted the newest chapters on the other characters and gave us nothing on Anne & Anthony very disappointed ...️
