Overall a good novel. As the author promises it avoids most of the cliches/pitfalls of other webnovels. The plot, execution etc are very good.But OMG how verbose it is. Every chapter filled with descriptions after descriptions of the smallest things. The most annoying thing is that they start anywhere, middle of dialogue, scene description, etc so by the time the long meandering descriptions of somethings have ended (which towards the end may not even have any relation with the original context) you would lose track of the original context itself. If author can improve on this aspect and generally the writing quality, then this can be a great book.

Unfortunately I am going to leave a negative review. The story has a lot of potential, but the pacing is insane. Within 24 hours, everyone he meets has adjusted to the apocalypse perfectly, seem to be seasoned veterans, the MC has multiple level 100 subordinates, is filthy rich, and the enemies are plotting ans reacting as if this has all happened over the course of months. Plus, everyone he meets seems eager to essentially sign a slave contract for very little logical reasons. I like OP MC’s, reincarnation, and such but this is all too much WAY WAY too quickly.
my main issue is that there's too much detail and spends about 2 chapters in the dungeon not using it very well and then 75 chapters outside the dungeon and complaining about issues that could be easily solved if he used the dungeon more instead of like a training for 2 minutes or something and actually made progress in it.
This is a 10/10 novel its awesome the pace is kinda slow but I understand everybody has things to do ppl plz vote for this novel I highly recommend you won't regret
I wouldn't recommend novel for people to read. I guess this is authors first novel, cause inexperience is felt while reading this. While premise could be interesting, lack of any research about america and police give novel too many defects at start. e.g. crossing the border with mexico while vaulting over the fence/wall (most of us mexican border in 2003 didnt have fence/wall and texas-mexican border is river), also promotion to detective just cause of good combat skills, or detectives having uniforms. Also instead of Sherlock type of detective, you get a Rambo in a police.
This book/story is like a series already! At some point you’ll get attached to the characters because of how they’re relatable but at the same time live in their own world
normally I'd have reduced the stars for updating stability but since it's free I'm giving you a 5 star review, really looking forward to more chapters
I've read this more than 9 months ago, The plot about having a Mc and the protagonist of the story his in and the Mc stealing the stuff of the protagonist trying to overpower him is quite unique, the Mc also isn't a arrogant and dumb one who provokes everybody, I really hope the author can continue this he can
To everyone who is starting this novel, ignore the criticisms from people about the novel early on. They think they have a point, but this novel takes more than 10-15 chapters to explain every single detail of why things happen. Trust me in that when you start reading more into it, it is much better than the average Webnovel story.
