I literally just wish, not ask, for some unique aspect such as skills or ability, you know, to make it has some differences to others. (i can't ask anything from the novel since this is not that kind site).
The frustating part is "My" feelings, not the "a frustating novel".
I forgot from which chapter i stopped reading, but i just see the MC keep losing over and over again with barely any win.
I ain't complaining type, i just get frustated then leave, i don't bit** around in the Chapters comment either.

its very similar to many dao type chinese novels. there is the mortal world (usually just a large planet), then there is the outer realm area which is within the home universe but very large and houses the mid range 'top of their home world' cultivators (these beings cultivate things like laws of concepts like space and time sh*t like that, rather than the basic sh*t you do on the home planet). and then it gets to outside of the home universe, where the cultivators are basically just gods that can blink and destroy universes. The mc is rather friendly, especially to his loved ones, this is not an evil mc, but does some questionable things. the novel is rushed toward the ending, the last 200 chapters were noticeably worse than the first 400 chapters but still good enough to finish the novel.
Why is liking milk and sweet things seen as something unmannely in these novels?

Can't believe that the servant won't even realize that the Jade token has been missing even after being arrested at chapter 132. Looks like the author lose idea how to deal with the problem that's why they just use the word 'idiocy'. MC halo is too strong. Still, the story is very likeable so don't mind what I've written here much. Just like what the others said at the comments, translation has a bit of problem but still very readable.
Compared to most of the novels on here as of late this is a return to form. It's quite good and worth checking out, so give it a shot. The worldbuilding and writing are all quite good, and you will easily be absorbed into the world of the novel.
