I need to sit with the Gold-dissolving Shortsword for a moment because this object is doing SO much thematic heavy lifting. On the surface, it's a plot device—Mu Nanyin chooses a 'worthless' sword over the Emperor's promise, confusing everyone including her own father. But the symbolism hits like a truck when she draws it and sees 'a flash of her past self lying in a pool of blood, and… Shen Junlin, who had taken his own life with this very sword for her sake.' This sword is the physical bridge between her two lifetimes. In her past life, it was the instrument of mutual destruction—she bled out, he killed himself with it. In this life, she WIELDS it voluntarily, choosing it as her reward. The act of choosing the sword over power, troops, or wealth is her way of saying: I know what this object means, and I am taking it back. I am no longer the victim who died beside it; I am the one who holds it. The repeated motif of 'cold' throughout this chapter—the cold wall behind Ning'an, the cold gleam of the blade, the cold sharpness—ties into this. Coldness is the temperature of survival, of calculation, of a woman who has died once and refused to stay dead. And then the chapter ends with Mu Bailian arriving with a 'purple-gold wolf-hair brush'—the very tool of the art Mu Nanyin refused to compete in. The brush and the sword: one represents the world of scholars and court intrigue (which Mu Nanyin is pretending to be weak at), the other represents the world of violence and fate (which she actually controls). Two objects, two lives, one woman standing between them.
The language reads easy. The author describes every thing well, almost as if it's happening in front of your own eyes. If I have one suggestion - to divide up paragraphs more, as any thing longer than four sentences fills up a entire screen on mobile. Well done Author. Try the story, it's great.
This story starts like any other isekai on this website, but it quickly shows its charm and uniqueness. It’s three lead characters couldn’t be more different, yet they are able to complement each other perfectly.The world building is enough that it doesn’t overwhelm the reader with details about the universe and its system, but it provides tid bits and some hints at the larger stories being ploted by the author. Don’t even get me started on the romance. I was rooting for it to happen for chapters, and the payoff was well worth it. The amount of times the room temperature rose due to reading this novel, were plenty.Give this novel a shot if you’re interested in a polished writing style, fantasy, boy romance, and heavy packed action sequences.

A really cool read, I love the MC. The fact the MC isn't about crying to people and just doing what needs to be done is fantastic. Where are the good scenes though :( . Harem, but I wanna read the dirty dirty things hehe. Show me dirt!!!!!!!
don't know about update stability and background much.What I know and can guarantee is that you should read it for the supporting characters.They are the ones who go through character development and honestly if you ask me who do I like in 70 chapters i have read them top 3 would be them,no place for mc or fl(they are lot much important,i believe in extra supremacy).One thing to note is that author is bad at maths and when I say that I mean he is very very bad ? at it.Maybe system is only supposed to show your natural growth or facilitates it a bit in normal case and give gifts when you achieve something.I am again telling you don't take numbers to heart just forget them.
