I'm at chap 365 now.At first the story is good and characters is good but..... what a pity MC turn into a idiot from 300+ chap. It seems he never learn from his earlier mistakes.Like that elder from megrez peak (i think his name zhao lin), like when he and li fei searching shangguan yan and almost killed by old fogy just because an a stupid reason, like when he not kill a bad guy in the forest seven sword sect which make his 2 friends one died and the other is losing the leg.... etc etc etc so many stupid thing he did which make his or his friend almost die. He had 3 memories of live but except for cultivation technique and recognize for several things the rest is useless. he only uses knowledge but not experience
i honestly think the author is high. so far I've read several chapters and from what I've seen the mc should be formidable but I'm seeing is him taking insults left and right. what part of that is formidable. for a man that's served 6 years in the military he sure is a coward. authors like these are hypocritical and honestly just copy a story and somehow make it worse

i thought he'd be successful going and dominating the chi universe after obtaining the fiend lord's memories and start story with Zendaya... it would have been better if the diffracted universe had not been destroyed and he finally gets to live a peaceful life after all these........ She asks him to stay, immediately regrets it because "he's too busy," then backtracks to "actually no you MUST stay!" and Xi Liye just... goes along with it. "It can wait. It's just one class." BRO. This man stayed up all night doing data observations because she didn't reply to his goodnight text, and now he's casually abandoning his lab for a filler lecture. The contradiction is delicious. What really gets me is how their dynamic has shifted. Wen Chu entered this as a "cannon fodder" playing a role—the warm violence bratty girlfriend act. But somewhere between the gaming all-nighters and the silent WeChat exchanges and the stairwell breakfast delivery, the performance started bleeding into something real. She called him "boyfriend" in a text and her finger paused. That hesitation isn't about the word being wrong—it's about the word starting to feel RIGHT and that terrifies her because she thought this was temporary. Xi Liye on the other hand? He's been quietly dismantling his own emotional armor. The scene where he sees "Good morning, boyfriend" and his knuckles tighten around the coffee cup, then his heart softens—that's a man who has never experienced this kind of friction before. "It was... uncomfortable." He literally names the emotion. This isn't some cold genius who doesn't feel things. This is someone feeling things for the first time and not knowing what to do with them. I'm just sitting here wondering: when Wen Chu realizes she actually cares about him, what happens to her original plan? And when Xi Liye realizes he's already all in, does he ever let her walk away?
