Started out good had high hopes, but yeah kind of turned to shit. a problem many chinese suffer from the semi racist shit and talking about women and their character traits like its the middle ages over generalises how all women are all the time a problem a lot of chinese novel suffer from but it's exremely bad here. Kind of wonder if the author has even meet a women before. i get it he wants a to write a harem wich are usually shit but this is just extremely bad even for a harem.
Hey! I'm the translator, Shiraishi. Since I'm also limited to 140 characters, I'll only say this. I hope you enjoy the story, and if you have any issue, don't hesitate to leave a comment.
It was quite a satisfying easy read. Recommended for those that want something easy on mind and emotions.
You'll must be thinking... "Why did this stupid guy give this novel a 5 star review?"It's simple really.... because it was a harem.. that's all I need :D
It's definitely a comedy I'll give it that. Lots of trope jokes, kudos. It's enjoyable as a parody. Maybe have something to drink before reading though. Don't take it so seriously. Yeah the MC is a***wful and but this is not a compelling epic or anything- it's funny when you read too many serious attempts at this genre. My only major complaint then, are the walls of text. It's just a headache to read through.
I liked it good read nice to read on down time
Ok so the story starts out as a transmigration with a system to ancient Poland. It's a good idea but the way it works out and is pretty boring and the main drawn of the system is barely used and not even defined. Right now we know barely anything about the system. There is no info on how he levels if there are levels, we know he gets xp from crafting but I guess no xp when he kills anyone we dont know his stats but we know he has them. The whole system thing is laid out like a wiki, it gives him info and that's about it oh and it can auto brew. It is supposed to be able to craft for him but he never uses it but to make beer. I mean what is the use of a system if he doesn't use it or hell the author never defines what it actually is or what it can do totally or what ways he can get xp. So ya the system to me is just a hook to get people that like them to the story and just enough to seem like there is a system. Just a few chapters in the romance entanglement starts which is crazy. The guy knows he only has a few months before the king runs away and all heck breaks loose and instead of setting stuff up thoroughly he spends 100 chapters play romance politics, yes het gets 2 towns out of it but damn 100 chapters of it and he has just made 1 brewery. I swear the author wants to have sex with his horse, he spends so much time describing the horse and putting his head to the horses you are just waiting from him to kiss the beast and way to much sex chapters for this type of story, I mean like 4 chapters to explain smut. Anyway the story is a disappointment and it's about to go premium. I wish the guy luck but i dont think many readers will hang around, in my opinion it's not worth paying for. The guy puts a lot of work and research in but for what its supposed to be it's just disappointment.
I thought this gem was underrated. Very mellow, slow paced, and REALISTIC portrayal of life in the 1990s-2000, albeit embellished by the MC's perfect looks. Not much of a plot but it doesn't need one: it's just about a guy's college life and work along the way, his pursuit of his girlfriend, his advancement of his business-minded career, and his modeling career.Very enjoyable read and there are even food descriptions!
Writing style needs more practise, but good for a first story. Intiriguing story. Just reading for the plot but if in the future author decides to rewrite it and fix some stuff, will be first to read again.
Okay, let me just say this upfront: the grandmother showing up with money after staying silent when they moved? That is NOT a coincidence. The author is playing 4D chess here and I am here for it. Huang Caiying drops this cash and immediately pivots to 'let's all get along,' but the timing is so transparent it's almost funny. 'Mom, if this money is from you and Dad, I won't take it!' — and then she takes it anyway because of course she does. That's the plot in a nutshell: everyone wants something, everyone's pretending they don't, and the reader is the only one seeing the strings. The Du Zhenkai engagement subplot is the kind of twist that makes you snort-laugh. The kid who used to fawn over Yunwei is now locking in with Xuewei? 'Those two rotten fish and spoiled shrimp are quite well-matched though!' Meng Suling didn't even need to try hard with that one. And then Yunwei's masterstroke — she's not avoiding the engagement dinner out of spite, she's using it as a strategic move to kill rumors. That's not a side plot, that's the main plot wearing a disguise. What's keeping me hooked is the question hanging over everything: what's the real cost of this 'family harmony'? The plot isn't just moving forward, it's coiling tighter. And I need to know what happens when the next bill comes due.
