Fun novel, the immortal life and seeing the changes in the environment is definitely the best part of it, although it copies a lot of things of other novels, its fun. But the ending is pretty rushed and feels like you were eating a slice of pizza and halfway thorugh it, it fell off. And there's a lot of arriving at the last moment trope btw

it was totally worth reading novel. for first 280 chap smthng, i really didnt like the ML, soo rude toward FL, and always saw FL.as cunning person. But my waiting worth those long annoying hundreds chaps, at 310 smthng chaps, the romance started to bloom. and the lovey dovey stories began.

A profound tragedy unfolds within the story of the "wife-chasing crematorium." Qu Moyu embodies my worst fears – power, control, lack of self-awareness, and narrow-mindedness. He displays cruelty and manipulation, yet there's an underlying vulnerability that's hard to believe. From Shen Dai or Qiuqiu's perspective, their encounters with him must have been sheer horror, filled with helplessness, anger, yet inability to confront him adequately. This emotional turmoil, which I've personally experienced, resonates deeply. As I read, I found myself empathizing with Shen Dai, whose resilience and strength stand out amidst Qu Moyu's darkness.
Qu Moyu's statement about not regretting his beta status if it meant protecting his loved ones demonstrates a level of sacrifice that I could only dream of. I often felt burdened by the expectations to be "more understanding" of others' priorities, even at the cost of my own pride. Shen Dai's journey is commendable, and it's uncertain if Qu Moyu's redemption would be accepted. Their future together, fraught with these dark moments, remains a question.
While I've come across similar dark themes and characters, none compare to the depth and impact of this story. The outcome, whether tragic or happy, depends entirely on Shen Dai's choices, as it should, as the one who suffered. Although I might be emotionally biased, the story's personal touch and its ability to reignite my motivation are exceptional. SQC has crafted a masterpiece with this work.

However, I urge readers to persist, as the story unfolds with a humorous take on VR League of Legends, which might sound bizarre at first. Beneath the comedic facade lies a profound tale of the protagonist overcoming past traumas and finding their place in an extraordinary new world.
The narrative is heavily immersed in League of Legends terminology and references, so if you're unfamiliar with the game, some parts might be challenging to follow. It's best to have some knowledge of the game to fully appreciate the character development. Despite this, I thoroughly enjoyed the book and consider it one of my all-time favorites. I'm even considering purchasing advanced chapters or learning Korean to continue reading beyond what's available.

The main character (MC) is a powerhouse, and the male lead (ML) is equally impressive, but they face challenges that make their story more relatable. What I appreciate is how the MC is cautious about relying on his future memories, acknowledging that they might not always come true. The political intrigue keeps me hooked, and the supporting characters, particularly the members of the Cavalry, are entertaining with their camaraderie.
In terms of romance, the slow burn between the protagonists is intense and understandable, given their reserved personalities and mutual respect. It's a beautiful dynamic, especially in a boss-subordinate relationship where both hold each other in high regard. The focus on the awakening power and the origin of their abilities adds depth to the world-building, especially within the omegaverse context.
Overall, I would rate this novel a solid 4.5 out of 5 stars.
