Keeping this secret for so long seems excessive – yes, protectiveness plays a role, but primarily it reflects FL's insecurity and selfishness. She admits it was just her and the baby, fearing the father would take away her child. But the central focus should be on the father. How can one think that way? Initially, adjustment time is necessary, but this拖得太久了. I might revisit the story later, but for now, I simply cannot proceed.
