The story is soooo good I'm gonna give it 5 stars? The very first chapter got me hooked, It literally intrigued me for reading more and more... and then the following chapters are so good and the author's observations from the real life (the one in lousy cook where you describe the sister running away and then in the next one when you say about police) that was sooo good!! Your work is so fun to read and I cannot put it down author... I deeply enjoy reading it and I am gonna keep reading further as well. Cheers to you!

Then there's Song Qingqi giving his sister the inkstone. He won it in a competition, it's basically priceless, and he just... gives it to her. No conditions, no 'you owe me.' When she tries to decline because her handwriting is terrible, he doesn't make it a big deal. He just frames it as a belated birthday gift and she accepts. Small gesture, huge warmth. Sibling dynamics done right. And Pei Chi! Oh my god, the awkwardness when Song Yuejiao bows way too hard and the system is like [Warning! The host's bow is completely unbecoming of a lady.] I was dying. She's engaged to this guy she barely knows, he tops the exam, she's more excited about her brother's fourth place than his first, and he's just sitting there slightly confused like 'isn't first place better than fourth?' The romantic tension here is all in the uncomfortable silences and missed connections, which is honestly more interesting than any forced chemistry.

Story hasn't had time to develop, translation isn't good but it's not mtl like the others. Characters' appearances are mostly ignored outside of combat, the world is interestings there's plot being laid out. Though it plays into a lot of troupes if your looking for turn your brain off monkeyness this is legit very good. Just ignore the small details the author ignored and you'll have a fine time. I just can't in good faith want to read this, I like consistent characters, if someone fears death, better make it impactful if they are ready to sacrifice themselves. If a guy kills people for no reason, I'd expect him to not have morals. Maybe not insane but minimally a uncaring person. But then in most novels here, it's two dimensional characters that has a goal and morals that will never bend nor change. This probably will get good at 120 ish to being bad at mediocre.
I am a dog person and I like werewolves over vampires and this novel seems promising . quality of language is good , concept is good , dating is realistic and mc didn't rush things with the girl , mc is not arrogant or dense or a horny teenager ,no young masters yet everything is going all right for now for me this is a light read a little funny and a little bit of romance .
if you want to write a story you must use punctuation. Otherwise it's essentially unreadable.in your head, as you write it, it probably makes sense. but to the reader, it's chaos.
