What's with all the killing and mutilating characters? In almoust every chapter someone gets killed or mutilated, and all those pshicopaths that keep apearing to torment the main characters. It's an interesting story but the amount of violence and torture it's just to much.

I absolutely adore this novel, which revolves around life in a high school dormitory. The main characters, Xie Yu and He Zhao, are initially perceived as ruthless tyrants on campus. However, they secretly possess a mischievous wit, each with their distinct personalities - Xie Yu, known for his quiet and intimidating demeanor, while He Zhao is the energetic cheerleader type. Their reputations stem from being seen as disciplinarians who physically "intimidate" others.
As the story progresses, the class gradually gains a deeper understanding of their true nature, and their tough exterior starts to soften, though this transformation might not extend beyond their immediate circle. The supporting characters are fantastic, adding a delightful mix of chaos and humor,尽管偶尔会出现一些误会。I've read this book numerous times, and the manga adaptation is equally impressive, with stunning artwork. I highly recommend giving it a read.
