The MC is an otaku that apparently has no qualms about, quite literally, mindless slaughter and torture.Subjectively speaking I do not like these kinds MC's as they make the novel completely pointless to read. There is no personality to them, no hint of intelligence. The word 'overwhelm' means 'kill everything that offends you' here, regardless of how small the offense seems to be. I do not understand where this is supposed to go as no purpose has been given whatsoever. Just otaku angry, otaku smash. We're done-zo with the fun-zo, otaku angry, otaku smash. You're probably annoyed with reading this already, huh? But you know what? Otaku angry, otaku smash.Objectively speaking, my scoring has been objective as I've not taken into account anything I've said in my rant about this novel. There is no info truly given about the mc - what kind of a person he was before rebirth and how he's changing afterwards. His savage personality is sometimes explained as being influence by the system and sometimes the author just says "...because he's an otaku..." or "...as an otaku...". The allied side characters(females ofc) are completely irrelevant to everything regarding the MC other than being potential **** mates due the nature of the system/MC pairing, nothing can come out of those characters. I honestly that remember if the world itself was every mentioned in the novel - don't even know where the MC is but that might be my fault for not remembering(that's how memorable the setting is with the info we're given). The novel seems to want to thread the path between 'Leveling up and becoming undefeatable' and 'Ultimate scheming system' but it just... otaku angry, otaku smash y'know?

First of all the translation quality is good but this novel does not deserve even one star let alone more by piggy backing off of that portion of the rating.I don't even know where to being on describing how horrendous this piece of used toilet paper with words on it is. Imagine the most horribly written over the top wish fulfillment garbage novel you could ever imagine. I'm talking like walk down the street and ninjas attack beautiful women out of nowhere around you where you fend them off with your little toe then sleep with the ladies afterwards while getting calls from world leaders asking you how to do everything because they can't figure it out and everyone bows down for no reason whatsoever. Imagine that then realize that compared to this novel that sh*t is literary gold. Compared to this garbage that is like the culmination of every great work ever rolled up into the most perfectly written tale ever conceived. This is also one of the most ***ist pieces of tripe I have ever experienced. If you care about your mother, sister, daughter, aunt or anyone else of the female persuasion at all you should learn where this author lives then stay away from there because he is probably a sexual predator.Unless you hate women, are a prepubescent boy and have an IQ under 5 you should stay away from this novel. Reading it will haunt you forever and cause you to wake up in cold sweats from the terror you will experience at realizing just how inept the human imagination can be.
I will be honest, review pre chp 240 is, ie tournament arc, would have been lower. Cast of characters are great and diverse, and MC was alright. UNTIL the tournament arc. He is now more than alright, he is awesome. Slight spoilers, MC (who we still don't know the name of) really grows a spine, and is willing and able to fight for the girls in his harem, and it is acknowledged that it is a harem, and he acknowledges feelings that he and the girls have. (A breath of fresh air from dense, clueless MCs). Really great novel, should be up there with Supreme Magus. Great work author ?
Writing quality: excellent. There are few mistakes, and I think a lot of those can be chalked up to Webnovel’s slipshod backend. Update stability: unstable. The author is writing two novels concurrently, both of which I follow, and both of which are suffering on this point. I think they were just too impatient and didn’t build up any stockpile at all, so they’re releasing chapters as they’re written. Story development: slow. I normally don’t review novels this early (as of the time I’m writing this, there are only 23 chapters available), but I really like the premise. Both of the author’s novels are really good, and - a rarity on Webnovel, where authors mostly copy and paste from each other in a neverending train of trend-following - best of all, they’re original. That said, the story is somewhat aimless right now and proceeding as if it’s in a three-way race with a glacier and a snail in a salt maze. In other words, it’s slow. However, I do expect it’ll pick up Soon(tm). Character design: inspired. While they aren’t perfect, or even great, by any means, the characters are at least unique. The author does an excellent job of making the main character feel weak and underpowered, forced to get by on his wits alone when thrown into a situation where virtually anyone he meets could accidentally kill him by frowning in his general direction. That alone is a breath of fresh air in a stale market that’s oversaturated by flavor-of-the-month overpowered Mary Sue MCs. In fact, most MCs on Webnovel are closer to the people Mary Sue wants to be when she grows up. World background: unexplored. The author hasn’t been focusing on any kind of worldbuilding so far outside of introducing two antagonistic factions. Other than that, and some very basic cultivation information (essentially just the name of the cultivation realms themselves), we know nothing about the world at large as of yet. Overall: I really enjoy what I’ve seen so far and hope that the author can pick up the pace, both in terms of story development and release rate. Those are the only two areas that it’s currently lacking in, but as far as story is concerned, you have to understand that the author has only written 23 chapters so far.
This is one of the best books I've read on this platform. With just 25 chapters, it introduces a diverse cast of characters and intriguing conflicts. Some of the characters feel so real they practically walk off the page! While their screen time is limited so far, I'm excited to see them grow.Pyrrhus, the main character, is well-crafted. He doesn't just destroy everything in his path; instead, he's thoughtful and takes his time to act. The plot and conflicts develop naturally, making it a fantastic read. Highly recommend!
