It's been a while since I have reviewed a novel, so pardon me if what I may have written might seem not understandable. First of all, let me start by saying that this novel is unique. Unique not in the sense that there aren't any pirate novels or any mc with sadistic tendencies but it was surprising to see a novel that combined both of these genres, and I have to admit, it's a pretty nice combination. For those who want a short concise opinion, I suggest you read the novel and give it a go. chances are you will probably be heavily impressed. For those who won't mind a long read, ill put in my thoughts on this novel in a bit more detail!First and foremost I want to compliment the writing style of the entire novel. Its sticks out very much from the standard webnovel novels. Rather than following the light novel style, the narration feels a lot closer to the westernized style of writing. Another plus for me was the smooth transition between the first-person and third-person points of view. these mixed use of pov does indeed IMO help a lot in increasing the overall immersion of the novel. The use of emotions was pretty much amazing. Sometimes you do feel in sync with the emotions of the protagonist.Talking about chapter updates, This area is indeed a major weak point of the novel. Although chapter lengths are indeed pretty much above average or in fact on the longer side, the guaranteed release of one chapter per week isn't much. But I did see a much better chapter release schedule this week, so that's good news. Now the world's development is phenomenal and the fact that almost every place that Hestia and her gang visit have been made into a map and posted on the discord channel ensures that it's easier to understand what's happening where. The story is pretty good. It is engaging and does get better as you read more. The genre here isn't exactly my cup of tea but id say it isn't a story you would feel much bored about. But do remember about the fundamental fact that Hestia (The MC) is REALLY a sadist, it is not a figure of speech. So those who are here in for a story of "sunshine and roses" protagonist who saves lives and spares their enemy, will not be exactly pleased or amused(but she does spare some of them so don't come to torch me if she spares some dudes). I love the detailing in the novel as well, whether it be describing the beauty of Hestia, the majesty of Cerberus, or the loyalty of Lucas and the rest of the crew, the great attention to detail and explanation sometimes immerse you far more than you could imagine. But one part I do find unsatisfying is the action parts. Yes, Hestia IS meant to OP but sometimes it makes the fights seem a bit bland. Other than a few instances, usually, it is just Hestia one-sidedly beating someone to death (tbh I should have expected as much when the MC is a sadist)The characters are amazing, every single one of them has their own distinct characteristics, personalities, and morals. Tbh in the 40 chapters that I have read, I didn't see any one of the crew ever breaking from the character. The emotional use is amazing and sometimes you will feel the emotions the characters are facing. And the MC is really unique and it's fun seeing her having fun with the gang. Although yes it is yuri and harem, I don't feel it to be the main focal point of the story. all in all, it's just the story of a wacky captain enjoying with her crew in all sorts of adventurehalf the fun seems to be in discord with all of them world maps, and with the ability to talk with hysterics, what more could you ask? and the character arts are amazing as well. So IMO this novel is definitely something to put on your reading list, may or may not be your cup of tea but ill encourage you to give it a try as it might surprise you as much as it did to me
Very fast paced action packed novel, I mean there literally isn't a single second spent reading this that is boring. It has a fairly unique approach on the summoning system, making it all that much better. Very well written with almost no flaws in grammar. Very good novel, definitely worth a read.
Writing Quality: There are some minor mistakes but the real problem I have is that the writing isn't really smooth, I can't just feel the story when I read it, the quality is averageStory development: So, the mc is not really mature, which I prefer, but he is still a child so it is acceptable. There are a few things I really don't like, first the stuff with his mother and her family, that was just wierd and you should change the story because it doesn't make sense. Second is the trust with his teacher, nobody should trust each other so easily, I mean yes the teacher knows his secret, but we don't know why she is helping him, is it because she is special herself? And that she just trusted him so fast don't make sense.Character design: He is immature, childish and a bit stupid, I hope he will get soon mature and the bearing of a true king and get stronger soon. I don't really like stupid characters, and his lying skills are so bad, and that nobody can tell that he is lying with his cultivation techniqe is really sad and should be changed.Update stability: 8 chapters a week is really good, I can't complain with that, 5 stars for that.World background: We only know that the universe is really big and we can't comprehend how big it truly is, we know that his planet is nothing but a small planet which is really weak. Hope to get more informations for that, but it is still just the sart of the story.Overall: The story has potential, but the problems which I explained, is the reason I will drop this novel, I just don't like the writing style, I can't bring myself to read it or pay for the chapters. I would recommend you to give it a try if you want, the first 40 chapters are free.

One of the best originals on this site, it's a literal hidden gem ?. The character development is just awesome as personally I care for overpowered protagonists with a good head on their shoulders, and I also loved the subtle romance with YANDERE on both male and female leads. Overall a good read if you're looking for high quality novel with an op protagonist that doesn't kill your brain cells.
So far!
If I was the MC, I would be too scared to even go out to s**t, that’s because if I entered a bush to do my business I would stumble across a secret conspiracy involving evidence wiping. That’s the major flaw of this novel.
it is published in royalroad and being continued there
I'm certain that I've read his book before. But I don't remember where. Maybe this is a case of uploading an old novel again because they don't have enough translators.

Okay so let me just start by saying I literally gasped out loud when Wen Chuxia signed that severance document. Not because it was shocking—no, the whole setup is basically: two people get reborn, both think they know how the story goes, but they're reading from completely different scripts. Wen Yuyan thinks she's the protagonist who got a second chance to avoid suffering by staying with her family. Wen Chuxia? She's already lived through being beaten to death by her own brother after decades of sacrificing everything. She's not playing the same game. The plot twist that got me was Wen Yuyan's internal monologue about how in her past life, no one from the Huo family came to fetch them. She thought the Huos were a golden nest. But in reality, the three Huo sons and their cousins would coldly watch her get bullied. Meanwhile, in THIS life, Huo Tieniu and Huo Yunxuan actually show up and defend Wen Chuxia. The irony is absolutely delicious. Wen Yuyan spent all this time trying to avoid the Huo family, only to realize she just threw away the people who would've actually protected her. And the severance document scene? Chef's kiss. Wen Xiuyuan practically begging her to sign, the whole family ganging up, and then Wen Chuxia just... signs it. No drama, no hesitation. She's already moved on. That's the plot beat that made me slam the book shut and stare at the ceiling. What I love is how the author sets up a double-rebirth narrative where both characters think they're smarter than everyone else, but the reader knows Wen Chuxia has the actual advantage because she's lived through the consequences. It's like watching two people play chess where one has memorized the entire game and the other is just guessing. The tension comes from waiting for Wen Yuyan to realize she's been outplayed.
I just read 100 chapters of the raw material from that novel, and here is my opinion. At least five years ago, or more, I started reading webnovels, and I can say with certainty that this is in my TOP 10 .... of racism. Seriously, I seriously expected a different behavior from a novel in recent years, there are only about 350 chapters, and where I get to, I've seen chauvinism, homophobia, xenophobia. And I forgot to include the clichés, arrogant MC, harem, extremely superficial women, a yang-like cultivation technique, extremely dumb villains.Let's face it, if you want to spend your time with something, at least choose something of quality.
