Enjoyed reading there was quite a few spelling mistakes
Can we just talk about how good the dialogue is in this novel? Because I am here for it. Shen Lingyi's voice is sharp, sarcastic, and absolutely fearless. When Mrs. Wang tries to guilt-trip her about the startup capital, Shen Lingyi doesn't even raise her voice — she just says "Oh?" and then proceeds to dismantle the entire argument with cold, precise memories: "When my husband's family was murdered, I came seeking Father while holding onto my very last breath. You interfered, cursing me for bringing bad luck to my husband and family, and calling me a jinx!" That's not just dialogue — that's a character revealing her entire history in a single exchange. And the line "a dog walks a thousand miles just to eat dung"? I laughed out loud. That is the kind of insult that stays with you. Then there's Lu Yunqi, who speaks in a completely different register. His lines are measured, educated, almost formal. When he tells Mrs. Wang about the punishment for slander — "Slander carries a punishment of eleven strokes of the light bamboo; slandering an official carries a punishment of one hundred blows with the heavy staff" — it's delivered with such calm authority that it's almost comedic. The contrast between his scholarly precision and Mrs. Wang's vulgar outbursts is hilarious. Wei Chengyi's dialogue is sparse but intense. "If they dare to pull firewood from under the cauldron, I dare to strike straight at the dragon's heart!" This is the kind of line that sounds almost theatrical, but it fits his character — a young general who is reckless, bold, and utterly convinced of his own ability. The narrative voice itself is also worth noting. It's third-person limited, shifting between Shen Lingyi and Wei Chengyi, and it captures their inner thoughts without over-explaining. The author trusts the reader to understand emotion without spelling it out every time.

John is smart i believe in writer and John start investigation and find the truth now and 9 years ago he have to die with guilty to believe wrong person i understand his situation but he should not behave like that sherry not giving food and atleast not caring for injury how she get that injuries
