Very good.Similar to Legendary Mechanic in terms of idea, but def not a copy of it.Interesting MC, he becomes a wolf. OP but not too OP. Recommend it.
I’m worried about this novel... even though I love it, if the author doesn’t even announce anything whatsoever then it causes me to think that something might have happened to him and that this novel might be dropped (at least we will know once more time passes, but my hopes get pushed down more and more so that I might die from heartache that this novel might be dropped dor unkown reasons...)
I guess the humor just isn't for me, obviously the main character is meant to be dumb like a lot of other comedy novels but he is separately really unlikable and whiny. I guess this genre is about seeing him as pitiful but still being able to laugh because he's succeeding but i just can't get over how annoying his outlook on things and thought process is. I have come back to it 2-3 times to read more but i always end up stopping after a couple chapters because of how much time we have to spend with this guy that lazes around doing nothing, can't look at anything positively, seeks to use everyone around him, has no interpersonal relations, and is really really dumb. Not only that but the reality of the system setting the bar higher each time, which is the core of the comedy, to me reflects the depressing reality of struggling with a futile task and is genuinely depressing. There was a moment one chapter where he got the results in and it mentioned he felt suicidal; fair enough looking at the money you didn't get for free i think most people would be genuinely suicidal. I almost expected him to jump off the roof. On one hand he's still just being handed money but on the other he's going to have to work harder and harder and nothing goes right for him and its honestly kinda nightmarish. Anyway, i'm sure if you're a fan of this type of comedy the novel is great but it's a hard pass from me
No. Non.The wish fulfillment is strong with this one.I made it to 17 chapters and there was no immersion into the characters, their motives or anything else. Just a lot of opportunities to show off, and a Gary Stu character surrounded by his Mary Sue disciples.I'm going to look for some brain bleach now.
STOP LETTING IT BE ON HIATUS! STOP LETTING IT BE ON HIATUS! STOP LETTING IT BE ON HIATUS! STOP LETTING IT BE ON HIATUS! STOP LETTING IT BE ON HIATUS! STOP LETTING IT BE ON HIATUS! STOP LETTING IT BE ON HIATUS! STOP LETTING IT BE ON HIATUS!
I really tried to like this novel, having read around 200chapters here, but it never got much better to change my mind. But I will recommend you not to waste your time and money here. Its not terrible but it isn’t worth it.Romance is poorly developed and the interactions between MC and the girls are very sparse. They only happen suddenly and then important conversations are cut off. Author skips important conversations and scenes when jumping between the Game world and Real world.Sometimes things also get quite confusing with random plot elements being introduced out of nowhere with no build up.Unimportant Fight scenes are often dragged out almost like arcs in DBZ. But doing this in a novel is very torturous and boring. Pacing is fast outside of fight scenes but then horrendously slow whenever there is a fight.
comparing dual cultivation with this masterpiece is like comparing heaven and earth, this novel has already reached a divine level, it is so good.

Very good. Calm, calculative Mc. Able to use what he has to his advantage. Minimal to no cliches. It’s interesting and draws you in. I hope this gets picked, as I’m still craving for more.
The novella is good, but it contains something that irritates me endlessly in novellas: the author gives the main character incredible potential, but he doesn't use it fully. This is the most annoying thing one can see in a novella, and it's also the reason I lost interest and stopped reading. The main character often repeats that he needs to get stronger as soon as possible, and he has the opportunity to surpass all the cultivators on Earth in, well, a week or two at most. Here's how he can do it—two ways that the author, for one reason or another, doesn't use or ignores, explaining it with dumb reasons. The first way, of course, is to have s** with Xia Shenyi, but he foolishly doesn't do it because of some promise he made when he was naive. And now, even after realizing how much he needs power, he still uses this stupid and incredibly annoying excuse. The second way is something anyone can figure out after reading about his physique's abilities, and that is s** with virgins. With his money, looks, and strength, he could have s** with hundreds of girls in a week and raise his cultivation to the world's peak. And as for his seed allowing people to become cultivators? Who cares? Without techniques and help, these women wouldn't be able to become cultivators anyway. So, the only thing standing between him and power is his stupid restrictions, because of which, 100% someone close to him will suffer in the future.I'm not saying he should go out into the streets and find them one by one. He could have used a brothel, which could have made for an interesting storyline. He could have also used that sect of some flower people, whose master he saved in the ruins. There are plenty of opportunities, but they aren't being used.
If you're looking for a story where the only romance is between a man and his sword... wait... something doesn't sound quite right with that statement... ¯_(ツ)_/¯ Xingjian has given up all of his “good” emotions for revenge, which makes it sound like he will be very 1 dimensional, but he is definitely more complex than that. It has plenty of well written and translated fight scenes, courtroom dramas and delicious sounding food. I think that the cultivation system is much easier to understand then some other stories and the plots that he is encountering when he is powering up are interesting and lots of fun.Anyway, this is one of my favourite translations due to the quality of the translation and the story in general ? it is one of the few that I have to get my fix of everyday!
