Translation quality is good and it would be a fairly good novel if it wasn't for the fact that the plot has been reused more times than is actually countable. The characters are basically brain-dead and each obstacle is as easy to overcome as the last.
I really enjoyed reaading it.
The story had an interesting premise that I was drawn to but after the first 40 chapters, it delved into utter boredom. The female Mc is so annoying gosh. The mc for all the hype of how bad he is I never really get to see him be ruthless and kill. He leaves ppl alive. I kind of understand sparing the female Mc but why the guy who reported him. I tried to continue after those chapters but I can't subject myself to that torture. All in all, it was an ok read up to 40.
This author ruins any potential his novel had in the first chapter with two bad decisions. First, should not have shown the truth in the first chapter. hint at it, sure, but let us be confused and angry for a while. Second, it was very dumb to introduce a transmigration plot into this. It is not just completely and utterly pointless but also an active detriment to the story because it severs the protagonist from his own past, creating a disconnect between the protag and Wang Yi's emotions, grudges and attachments. With this decision alone he neuters all of the emotional weight that he established at the start. Alternatively, he could have just introduced the system and shoved in some BS about how he was chosen by the system because he is uniquely qualified in some way, perhaps he naturally has an extremely strong soul or something. Regardless, with the two bad decisions he made in the first chapter alone he ruined any potential his novel had in ways that are extremely easy to fix.
Your writing has truly captivated me - it's a masterpiece! Are you considering releasing a revised edition or exploring innovative ways to share your work with a wider audience?
Shameless author, I know but have to get the ball rolling.
This is by far my favourite original work novel on this website. The concept for the story is interesting and the novel is well paced. I enjoy how characters have worth because it is possible for them to die unlike other novels. I really like the direction the novel is now taking with the Monks we're learning there is more to the world of martial arts in Japan than meets the eye. Friends and Foes have depth, personality and each feel unique from each other, which is a huge breath of fresh air from the usual 2D Chinese Villains. This novel has only gotten better as it continues and I can tell the author has improved along the way. I have no qualms with the grammar as I have noticed nothing off. All in All I would highly recommend, I only wish there was more :) Keep up the great work Author-san!
Everything is just same as other novels it's like I'm reading it again and again with just character names getting changed. most of the plots are same as if they came from the same printing press well I'm dropping this as I've already read "it"
Great book. Highly recommend. It’s an easy read with great characters.
Mc is arrogant and completely reveals his talents for no real reason, risking being experimented on, etc. He helps save people for no reason who insult and attack him. I really like his power but other than that, this novel has nothing good at all. Dropped on ch15
patiently waiting for your new story. I will definitely be reading this book again. already recommended it to my sisters
Interesting plot
