I have just started reading this book and am loving it. I agree with the one comment stories like this are rare. I wish more people wrote books like this. It shows often the truth behind a person and how cruel people tend to be. It points out good points and have a great back story to the mc. I love it really goes into detail with out boring the reader to death. I also love how like the one comment said you can really see and understand the mc reasoning. I also love how u go into detail but also keep it interesting. Like I often finds good books that sometimes gives you too many boring details. Or often enough that they is irrelevant to the story at hand. Also thank you for writing this novel we need more novels like this. Hope you continue to write more chapters and books like this.
I'm enjoying the story much to my surprise. Grammar needs to be polished though, but all in all it's my cup of tea.. Hope you would improve your writing skills I suggest.. Or get an editor or just a proof reader that would be perfect.. Nothing much to say about some plotholes. Nevertheless, it's good.
The interaction between system and Mc was pretty cute. It gives the feeling of annoying siblings relationship.Like the way the author use the item and the references was pretty good too.Hope you didn't drop this story.
Can i please get the raw?!? My butt is itching to read this novel! This is a new change of pace! A new Protagonist that controls everything behind the scenes in the shadows!
Lame . . . . . . . . . . ........................................ . . . . . . . . . . . . . ....... . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ..
lt starts off slow that l wanted to go find another manga and but l stuck to thls one and at chapter 40+ ls where the story becomes interesting to me!
The mc is a little dumb,he's not what I call careful because there is nothing to be careful at,you don't know exactly why he want to be low-key,you don't see the danger. When you want to show the mc has a need to be careful, show us the danger, the reason why he need to be careful and not paranoid assumptions. We can't see the danger, being overly careful is just buying the story time because the author don't know how to make the mc not too OP so he make petty excuses such as "carefulness" we don't need. The mc can have more ressources with being libelled as a genius than losing time in weak dungeons.
Overall the novel is pretty good and I don’t see any glaring issues other then I started reading it based on first day in game and this novel doesn’t even take place in game so -1 and secondly he has been checking in for days and not a single billion so -1
Hey!!If you got nothing to do or find life unappealing why don't you consider reading this novel since its a banger. And rediscover a brand new world that will make you want to see what everyday has to offer. Will you are here don't forget to pledge your soul to the Dark Lord and sacrifice your power stone, Golden Ticket to keep being happy.
Great read very good story! I'm trying to add filler review for the 5 stars because I already read the whole story and loved all of it. Just came to put in the review so others notice it more and awspect gets more [benefit?] out of his awesome story.
nice storyline
This author's dialogue is actually fire and I need everyone to know about it. Let me start by saying: the way Cen Zhou speaks is *perfect*. He never says too much. Every line is calculated, measured, dripping with double meanings that fly right over Qiao Zhiyang's head but hit the reader like a truck. "Young lady, do you need assistance?" — sounds polite, proper, gentlemanly. But the way it's delivered, with that lazy laughter and the way he's already got his arm around her waist? It's predatory. He's playing the role of the helpful elder while secretly orchestrating everything. And Qiao Zhiyang's dialogue is equally well-done. Her internal voice is so distinct from her external voice. Out loud she's demure and proper: "Sorry, Mr. Cen. I was too forward." But inside? "Ugh. How did things end up like this ( )!" and "Damn it. Are you kidding me!" The contrast between her polite exterior and her chaotic inner monologue is hilarious and so relatable. The author also uses silence as dialogue. That moment where Cen Zhou kisses her thumb instead of her lips — no words needed. The action speaks louder than anything he could have said. And the narration itself has such a distinctive voice, especially when it dips into Cen Zhou's perspective: "Tsk. So obedient. How could she be so obedient? It made one want to protect her, yet also tease her a little." The narrative voice shifts between third-person limited (mostly following Qiao Zhiyang) and occasional dips into Cen Zhou's thoughts, and the transition is seamless. You always know whose head you're in, and the author never over-explains. The dialogue feels natural, not stiff or overly literary. These two sound like real people having a real conversation, even though the situation is wildly dramatic. Also can we talk about how the author uses the Hong Kong accent detail? "Her Mandarin, with its Hong Kong accent, was both clear and sweet." Little touches like that make the characters feel three-dimensional.
