When Quin died in a bus hijacking—shot in the head with an M16—he awoke inside the game he’d been playing for the past month, now possessing the body of an overpowered villain.
Grateful for a second chance, Quin vowed to change his fate. He would no longer be the bad guy, causing chaos and senseless killings everywhere. Instead, he’d live a simple, honest life. He even decided to help the hero grow stronger, becoming the hero’s benefactor as in the original plot.
But just when everything seemed to be going smoothly, Quin made a chilling discovery.
It occurred on the day of the hero’s awakening.
“...Your eyes.”
“Huh? What about my eyes?” the hero asked, puzzled, as his benefactor went pale, his lips trembling.
The hero’s eyes had turned a deep shade of chocolate—eerily, terrifyingly similar to the man who had shot Quin in cold blood.
