I originally was really hoping to like this story but unfortunately character development, editing, story development, and world building are completely lacking. The character goes from very ruthless (understandable thanks to his background story), and then instantly when he meets this woman who has a similar story he falls in love and his personality changes (and hers for that matter). I don't mind romance at all but this author made it forced and quite unbelievable. Even giving excuses saying "Just because they professed their love doesn't mean they're a couple" but then immediately in the next chapter they're calling each other lovers. That flirty behavior and constant groping and kissing and moaning is just completely irrelevant from the story it seemed the author was trying to write in the beginning but then it turned into a bad romance novel I'd find in my grannies book shelf. Work harder on editing as inconsistencies can pull people out of the story. Such as: This amulet curses people to lose 5% of their power, but then a couple paragraphs later its now 50%.I really really really wanted to like this but I just couldn't continue. My advice stick to the kind of story you want to write and don't make excuses or try to pander to all the fans on this website. Be honest with what kind of story this is, (which at this point I'd call a romance fantasy slice of life with an OP MC) you'll get the type of readers that love that kind of story and get less bad reviews and angry comments.
I can safely say that the writing is very good. The story was great as far as chapter 24. Then the Author decides to nerf his MC! I mean why? That’s a huge red flag and the reason I dropped the book. To me, it shows that your just slapping this book together and that doesn’t bode well for future update stability. And I just plain hate when you nerf your MC, that’s just stupid.
The first series was fantastic and something to look forward to. When I heard there was a second book I was beyond excited. Sadly that's all the excitement I've had for this book. Instead of a continuation it's basically a repeat with washed and redone stories. Might be too late to save such a great series not something I wanna spend money on anymore.

If you are looking for a book with thrilling and heart felt experience, then you have reached the right book. I especially loved the second volume
Im giving this review for the 1st chapter just because some readers dont justify the TRIAL READING. Yapping bout something they dont like every paragraph and I dont even know if they're comprehending every bit of it. Since someone reviewed biased because they dont play league. I will see if the terms and tactics will be explained so as the non players will still get it.I agree about the naming but maybe the author/translator is not shameless enough to put it there for the reason of being sued.
Everything about the story is great except for the release rate. If the autor could get that down on a solid schedule I think it would have a simaler rise in popularity to the Rainbow Mage novel.
Rather interesting, nice description of scenes, keeps it toned back enough to let a readers mind fill it in. Definitely good descriptive skill, wish it updated a lot more.
Hmm.. Summary makes you hook on to it already. It's a refreshing way to read on a different perspective. I've never read quite like it. Plot is solid and the characters are superB.Keep it up author! :D (review trade)
a novel more concerned about the management of various people than actually intelligent story-telling. most of the middle ream of this novel revolves around MC saving various relatives, random chicks he meets, and ect... if youre expecting a great adventure full of the exploration into the unknown, dungeon diving, and epic martial arts you've come to the wrong town.the novel tricks you though, the first 500~ or so chapters are really well done, the interactions between the MC and various people FEELS natural, and it takes a grim dark tone that sets you up for a truly intellectual story. but when the MC starts saving all those people, you know youve stepped on a turd, that is more concerned with happy-endings than having an ***** conversation with consequences for actions.a true shame, nothing real here, all intellectually bankrupt.
