Save your money, while the original book is 900 chapters strong, webnovel dropped it after infrequent updates. Was a decent read and looked like it was going somewhere... then... nope.
This is one of my favorite novels on this site. The MC is not some boring rock like Linley (bring it on CD fans), but always manages to entertain with his shameless and rogue-like personality. A non-hypocritical anti-hero MC is quite unique in this genre. This novel is fast, easy-to-digest entertainment that is a step above others of its kind. The only downside is that release speed is below average and lots of pinyin is mixed into the translation that might put off some readers.
Story is good, but things are way too expected and predictable, also gets boring over time, however it has been a good one, will be expecting more in the next volume.

So this willl cover a lot of things.IMPORTANT points : It's a Harem. Around 5 girls. I am reading from raws so many names might be different from the translation.I will start with Cons :1: Last Moment Saviour. : Author takes this to the extreme. Until Ch 800 there have been almost 10+ instances of this. Everyone will be dying or just on deaths door step and only then MC will swoop in to save them. And most of the the time the enemy power will only attack MCs family, that too when he is somewhere else.2: Villains : Cliche and Copy Paste. Don't expect something clever from them. It's mostly the usual, they will attack. MC will ruin them. They will call their Master or Owner, who will be considerably stronger. MC will escape due to his treasures or some strong guy saving him.3: Characters : Many characters are left or forgotten.4: Plot Holes : Lots of small plot Holes. But nothing major to affect the story.5: Romance. : It's an Harem of around 5 girls. It's the xianxia style romance where Girl will be strong and when MC catches up, she will only sit back.6: Character : He's a Gary Stu. Although sometimes he does break out of the mold.7: Plot Armor : This MCs plot Armor is his knife. It's one of the most comprehensive ot Armor. Want to attack? It's sharpness is unparalleled. Even Characters several realms above him are killed or injured at the least. Injured? The mysterious chi will heal you of all ailments. Want to control a treasure spirit? The knife will help you. Want to break formations? Let the knife lead. Want to earn money? Use the knifes secret techniques.8: World Building : It's okay. PROs:1) Short story: With just 1000 chapters the story is actually pretty short.2) Fillers : Quite few fillers.which is pretty good.3) Story : Mostly Engaging.In the end, it's better than most Xianxias flooding the market. I have tried to keep the spoilers at minimum. You can mesage for more spoilers.
Good story currently caught up to the latest chapter, the pace is kinda slow with that it seems they have only spent a month so far on the mortal planet but the read has still been really enjoyable. I'm curious to see what will happen to Cain's relationship with kali if it will grow into something more or if they will have a falling out. Also author the release rate is awesome!

Giving five stars because i like harem and system genre in novel.But it seems like you will suffer a lot in converting this romance novel in a harem novel. You said you are experimenting with the story? i will be glad to help. I wish though that he can be different form the cliche MC in novels.The writing needs improvement though

This book is Written extremely well, I’ve read all 67 released chapters so far and have yet to find any grammatical errors. They story and characters introduced so far, are well thought out. The MC is Cold and ruthless and I just can’t wait for new chapters. World building is is superb, very hard to find a flaw in this story, definitely not a book you will have to worry about plot holes popping up or the MC only surviving because plot armor. Overall a very well written book that definitely deserves a 5* rating. If the stories, description interested you enough to look at reviews before reading the story. Look no further this story is amazing and definitely worth a read.
waste of time, how she even strong character if she go back to mate who had killed her in past. female is pathetic and ml is asshole overall you stole someone plot.
