Got a little over 500 chapters in before I gave up. MC is a chode who gives up limitless possibilities and power to fight the enemy because he has to stay human. But if you want to know what the story is all about, I’ll break it down for you: penis, penis, China #1, penis, China #1, more penis’, China maybe not #1? JK China #1. If you’re not from China reading this propaganda you’ll probably get bored of it like I did.

Indeed after chapter 118 after the painting and the spirit array come to MC. The whole story completely change without any explanation and no sense at all. It truly shocked the hell out of me and somehow cringe. It doesn't have the the original story anymore. It somewhat copy paste from cultivation bigshot lol.
This author just decided to erase all the character bond with the MC in just one chapter. Wow...and next chapter was suddenly out of nowhere he just falls in love with that spirit.....cringe as hell. And then his disdain toward yu hongye so suddenly. Wtf is going on....before meeting the spirit the story doesn't show any signs of disdain toward his maids. In just one chapter this happen. What the heck is going. I stop at chapter 124. Since this story is starting to be going the same as I'm cultivation bigshot. Without any progress story and just like he made mistake build on the character of the maids. Suddenly he just want to erase it like we don't need to know.
The first 700 or so chapters are quite good, it's very fun. Then MC gets r*p*d, at least twice by two different women. My fault I guess for not checking the tags, but in retrospect it was foreshadowing: author spent hundreds of chapters very BARELY fleshing out some sort of romance with these women, and ended it terribly. Just like how the story itself has a pretty unsatisfying ending. Sad how it turned out, good enough to pass the time.
I’ve read until chapter 21, and I got emotional on that part. Definitely a roller coaster ride reading this. I like there’s some angsts and humor. I think everyone should give this novel a try! The author is good at writing ^^
