i mean, if you consider most of the twisted bad people in novels, you often learned that they're filled with problems of life and when a person shows them kindness for the first time, they became addicted. and to be honest, i can't blame him. he chased for his happiness he felt for the first time. apparently its bad and ruins people around him.
How come it updated ? The original site only have 420 so it should be MTL. I can be incorrect since I'm not reading it now. But my comments regarding it's status are below and no there's not been any announcement regarding the new translator picking up. I fear it's MTL.
I would've liked a decent amount of basic science understanding behind the characterization in the story. What I mean is you wrote the novel with the major theme of a person who carries nanites and uses nanotech to fashion needful weapons/items, etc. Shouldn't you then already know the total amount of nanite mass you carry limits the mass of what you create? If you had 100 pounds of nanites in your body, how can you create say a 2 ton weapon or item? For the most part, the author does stay within reason, but there were times of going well beyond what I was referring to.
Can someone help me with these questions? I just started reading(40 chapters in) but i have read several complaints about the novel:
* whats his current cultivation? The wiki i saw only goes up to chapter 1882 at bright purple core, but here we have more than 3000
* how can it be so long? Honestly from my experience when a story is so long its because the author is just repeating the same tricks or filling it with unnecessary content
* i read MANY people admolish the novel because of the excess of drama, of how villains just wont die and keep coming back and also about how many characters exceot the mc keep getting power ups so that they can contend with him (be it villains or his allies)
* many complained about how slow the story is, and he will spend many hundreds of chapters to only improve a subrank
* also it was said that there is no character development, and they stay as whiny teenagers forever

The opening and middle stages were exceptional, but the conclusion felt somewhat disjointed. Initially, certain plot elements appeared clichéd but unexpectedly deviated from expectations. The protagonist didn't fall in love with the woman he protected or date the damsel he rescued; the story could have easily resorted to a harem theme with various professions like nurse, flight attendant, CEO, or doctor, but the author skillfully avoided such clichés.
The narrative maintained a grounded and realistic approach, which made it more enjoyable as it didn't inflate one's ego. It served as a reminder of the often-delusional fantasies found in some other stories. Despite a polygamous ending, I was content with the resolution, though the final chapter could have been polished further.
The main character stands out for his independence from the system and lack of obsession with bedding every attractive woman. The relationship between him and the primary female lead was the highlight of the book, despite a less-than-ideal ending.
I encourage you to give it a read – I believe you might find it appealing. The protagonist's unique character and the depth of his connection make this story worth exploring.

However, this particular narrative subverts that expectation right from the start. The ideal progression would involve people discovering the protagonist's genuine goodness, acknowledging his selfless actions, feeling remorse for their treatment, and then showering him with loyalty or affection.
But in this case, the plot has a built-in constraint: the MC's vitality and lifespan would decline if anyone were to discover his true nature. This setup inherently makes much of the story unsatisfying, given the high barrier to having a significant number of characters learn the truth with such a severe consequence.
Of course, this overlooks the glaring plot hole – why would the MC need to repeat the same mistake if he'd already succeeded once? The initial premise of the book seems flawed.

Dang, it's been a long time since the last time I read this and I thought that there would be new chapters by now... Was it dropped? I enjoyed reading this one a lot and was hoping to read new updates again since I decided to let it marinate the last time I finished reading all the chapters and I'm not even sure how long ago it was.. months probably? But felt like a year ?
This any good, or decent, I'll read anything that's decent and above
