She chooses Song Yan every single time. The author really said 'let's make the most devoted guy in the book suffer' and I am HERE for it. The plot structure around him is brutal in the best way. Every chapter, we get another layer of this painful dynamic. Fan Shengmei says the line that cuts deepest: 'Be a little kinder to your brother.' An OUTSIDER notices what the protagonist herself refuses to see. That's not just good writing—that's a plot weapon. And then Meng Yanchen overhears it. Of course he overhears it. The universe conspires to make him hear the one thing that should change everything but doesn't, because he's trapped in his own pattern of silence. Meanwhile, the Chen Jiakang subplot is quietly building this slow-burn tension that I didn't expect but absolutely love. He's not a cartoon villain—he's calculating, yes, but the text makes you understand WHY Fan Shengmei hasn't shut him down completely. She's thirty-something, carrying her family's mortgage, tired, lonely. Chen offers a version of stability that feels almost attainable. The plot doesn't judge her for wavering, and that's what makes it feel real. And then—BAM—the Birkin bag reveal at the end. From 'I'll always be single' to showing off a nearly three-million-yuan apology gift from Meng Yanchen. The plot is setting something up and I am NOT calm.
There is no logic in the story, no elaboration on how/why anything works longer than a single sentence.On top of that some overpowered MC, a bit of face-slapping and levles and power categories that do not have any meaning for the MC, only for EVERYONE else in the world...Oh, and I read 40+ chapters and still do not know anything about the 'person' Mike...

OP system which probably would allow MC to grow whole realm up to platinum. Story is pretty boring as well as a bit stupid. Characters aren't very special. I don't really understand high rating of this novel.
Just read chapter 2 and it is like the author had decided to put the most dumb and stupid things an mc can do in an isekai novel into 1 person. First of all openly declaring that he is not going to an ally would usually mean voluntary giving up your life because they have spent a lot of resources to summon you and the first you do is say that you're not an ally, if this isn't dumb than I don't know what is smart. Than even before the king can finish speaking he interrupts the king and in a disrespectful way says who are you and why am I here? Any culture on earth that has kings, future or present, has lesse mayeste rules to define what happens when someone is disrespectful to the throne and this mc just acts like it is normal to be direct and disrespectful while what is normal is that he would have been beheaded for his behavior. If this novel is full of these kind of illogical inconsistencies than I will quit reading this novel very quickly
Here's my review ?Firstly, your book is in a drama sequence that's ok but I'll say prose is better for more reads. Secondly you kept changing from first to third POV and sincerely speaking, it became confusing at some point. Thirdly, I really had a good laugh while reading it ?? some scenes were Soo funny. Also, the names aren't intriguing to be frank and they're quite a few grammatical errors but that's fine... Everybody makes mistakes. I really enjoyed the book While it lasted but unfortunately couldn't move past chapter 14 as it wasn't for me, the plot definitely wasn't for me. However, keep up the good work author! Writing a story isn't an easy feat. I'll commend that I'm really really impressed with your updates... Very! So don't stop writing and updating more chapters.So overall, I'll rate it 3 over 5... Good writing quality, little to no error atleast none that I could make of. The story itself is interesting, it has a lot of potential. The premises it was built on can be considered new and untestesd so its not cliché The characters are midrange in realism, so if author put a lil bit more work in and a good character development, then we'd have a good story in hand.The world background are cloudy tbh, we know it's a cultivation one but unless I was not paying proper attention, it was not explained in details. And that is, more things are still not really explained but that's to be expected since its only just 20 chapters.overall: Its not for me, but if you like kingdom building with cultivation, then go for it

the only good thing is unlike other novels that havent yet been picked, this novel has only 2 locked chapters. that's the only good thing as of now.The story line is kind of in sync with many other novels already present. MC gets a system that no one has, he becomes strong, meets some chicks, a few protagonists, makes friends with big people. all fine.however, the MC is the weakest doormat out there. everyone just walks all over him. he is the most pacifist MC ever and it literally makes you grind your teeth.
