The jumping of past and present tense is a difficult adjustment to make as a reader. First person narrative, but missing first person perspective.

Awesome, truely awesome. The storyline is really great. Its not repetitive. The author is simply great, he does not overdo things in hos novel. There is very limited use of plot armor. The main character's origin is a bit shabby compared to other novels, a bit shallow to me. The other character's background is well explained. The main character's mindset is evolves slowly but steadily and its well explained. Simply its a great novel. The translation group is ****ing awesome, translation quality, update rate, ... Dont even read author has a brain disorder and is overly racist starts well but then spirals down as mc attitude starts changing and he becomes like those spoiled young masters making excuses for his choices. Even an arc where he cripples a british person's monster just cause she beat his Chinese countrymen saying he has to win back face for his country even though she won fair and square
