Just fall for it! I love this genre, so I can't stop myself from giving it a try and just fall for it! It's a different kind of story, so if anyone likes this genre, pls give it a try. I am sure it won't disappoint you! Keep it up and try to update every day!
I was looking for a good book to read for a while now and I found this book. I easily got hooked up. A good read. I can’t put it down. I would readily recommend this book for those people like me who like a story line ‘from weak to strong’. As always, a savour the experiences and trials in Shi’s journey. A thumbs up to the author and the translation is impeccable! Thank you guys! Kudos!
Do yourself a favor. Don't even start reading. The characters in this book are such trash that your head will hurt with each piece of stupidity they do that flys in the face of even the most basic common sense. It's clear that the author had some outline for the way things should happen and then forced his characters to follow it without even trying to make the circumstances fit with the decisions the characters make. It's just ugly. Every other paragraph something happens that just makes you rub your head and facepalm at the insanity. Turn back before you suffer through reading this.

This novel is 50/50 I suppose because while the ratings are high, the no of ratings are low, it's not even in the thousands for a novel reaching 2000 chapters milestone but the views are decent while at the same time recommendations are low. Also this is the first novel of the author. So we can conclude that it has better stats than novels like 'Invincible Dragon Emperor' or 'WSSTH', I hope the novel is atleast better than those two.

So far, I enjoy the story but the writing can be hard to follow at times. Character aren’t fleshed-out and the world seems to be lacking a lot of details. Grammar could be better. Will update rating if writing improves.

I have read this novel at the obter website and i must say, it is by far the best webnovel i have read so far in qidian that brings the most of the real human nature in us, i Also must say that it has an amazyng character development until chapter 249 together with an slow but really good cultivation and world bulding, it is a novel with a dark theme just like reverend insanity but doesnt Goes that deep in the dark, it doenst need To, and because of that i believe more people Will read it, there is romance, Hatred, betrail, felling of being lost as well as hope and in my opnion a really good plot twist until chapter 249 that is the end of volume one, To all boys and girls i recomend giving a shot until chapter 249 Before rating it because i may be wrong hahaha, but it doesnt matter, if you are going To read i ask you To have the patience To read until chapter 249 and sorte for my spelling mistakes i dont have inglish as main language
The story is interesting but I agree with the others. The grammar is half-bad although I can understand what you are trying to convey it is tiring to always guess the right words and reconstructing the sentences. You need to look for an editor. Once you release many chapters not all people has the patience to play "guess". Dont take this comment too hard. You have potential its just the grammar that's holding you back.
I enjoy when a story isn't rushed and when it's well written, and these certainly apply to this story. It is eloquently worded and it spends much time on describing the interactions between characters as well as the thoughts of the main character. These are both the book's greatest strenths and weaknesses in my opinion. To illustrate this I will write two lines essentially describing the same thing:-"He could not help but allow the lurking smile at the back of his mind grow on his face as he expressed the feeling his thoughts gave him"-"He smiled at the thought"I enjoy these lengthy descriptions... but not when the book is full of them. Most of the descriptions are like the first option, and I got tired of it pretty quickly. The phrase "could not help but" is also unnecessarily abused to an almost hilarious degree. While I certainly cannot fault the author on their english, I wish they would consider the time to use these dragged out ways to say things that could be short and concise. Which brings me to my second point, the pacing. Dear lord is the pacing slow, which I also enjoy at times, but only if we get some action in between. Those who have read the book may be thinking "wasn't the monster wave enough action?" and to that I say, it should have been half as lengthy and have more fighting rather than pointless dialogue. Also, the monsters are literally only described as that, 'monsters'. Nothing is said about how the regular monsters look in the first couple of chapters of the fight. I'd say, give the book a chance, those of the same opinion as me regarding pacing and language will quickly realize it isn't for them, and for the less picky, I believe you will enjoy it. It certainly isn't bad by any means, but I will not be reading more than 60 chapters of it. Hope you can take some of the criticism to heart and improve author, flaws aside I think you have a good story in you.
