Giving five Star since it was a PUBG novel that I really love to play. I just hope that the author would come back to continue it after I reach the latest chapter ^^
I have read 263 chapters and the novel is basically all of the mc's plans getting f*cked by his subordinates and the mc suffering/being tortured over and over and over and over and over ... and over again. The mc wants to lose money but everything goes against his wishes. So far except for maybe 5 times, everything written happens in the mc's home city, so the world background in basically non-existent, even though the author tried to make a few changes and introduce the world, I find it completely lacking. Sometimes the decisions the mc makes, make one doubtful if he did go back 10 years to a parallel world, and if he has any problems related to intelligence. Though I do enjoy the novel overall, sometimes I find the novel lacking and irritating. I sometimes hope that things fail and go in favour of the mc, but from the looks of things, that will never happen and his successes will go on uninterrupted, and the only thing changing would be what succeeds, and goes against the mc's wishes.
Great consistency in the storyline. You could read for hours and never get tired.
The translation feels super lazy, there are a ton of inconsistencies, especially the names of sects or moves, in one sentence, the name of a sect would be Paradise Palace, the immediate next sentence, they would change the name to Elysium Palace. This is not the only example, as this would happen all the time and is super immersion breaking.To be honest, I don't even mind the characters and the world being one dimensional as that is the case for 80% of the translated novels nowadays, but I can't even continue to read this due to having to constantly try to figure out what the translations are saying.
I am really enjoying this story I wish it had quicker updates but the story is highly enjoyable I'm ready for the mc to start gathering more slaughter essence and **** the humans and demons up so plz faster and more!!!
I cried. I cried SO MUCH. It is so sad, and beautiful. Why must the world torment the cloud so? Even just thinking about it has brought me to tears again
