Indeed after chapter 118 after the painting and the spirit array come to MC. The whole story completely change without any explanation and no sense at all. It truly shocked the hell out of me and somehow cringe. It doesn't have the the original story anymore. It somewhat copy paste from cultivation bigshot lol.
This author just decided to erase all the character bond with the MC in just one chapter. Wow...and next chapter was suddenly out of nowhere he just falls in love with that spirit.....cringe as hell. And then his disdain toward yu hongye so suddenly. Wtf is going on....before meeting the spirit the story doesn't show any signs of disdain toward his maids. In just one chapter this happen. What the heck is going. I stop at chapter 124. Since this story is starting to be going the same as I'm cultivation bigshot. Without any progress story and just like he made mistake build on the character of the maids. Suddenly he just want to erase it like we don't need to know.

I loved this story. I wish there was a sequal (especially for Rong and Qiu)...[no spoilers]. It was cute. At first it seemed rapey, but I realized it was just the characterization. If you can get over the intitial aggression, then it's worth the read.
