DraugrLord
This is a gem. Strongly recommend. Excellent writing and high quality. The premise is original and it is a breath of fresh air. I predict that this story will be partnered if they release steady.

Let's talk about stakes because they are about to go OFF the charts. On one level, you've got Qing Yanshen and Jiang Qingmi trying to figure out if they're actually a family. Paternity test pending. Memory loss on both sides. She's drawing boundaries, he's desperate to prove himself. The conflict is intimate and personal—will she trust him? Will he figure out who he is? But then the author pulls the camera back and suddenly the stakes are life-or-death. Qing Minghong has surgery in TWO MONTHS. He's desperate to find his son before then. Qing Chen is already acting shady—why did he suddenly start working seriously at the company? Why did he suggest Yanshen go abroad instead of facing the marriage arrangement? And that final line where he 'sneered' after a phone call? Chilling. The father says 'He's just an ordinary person. Who would go out of their way to target him?' But the reader knows better. This is a wealthy family with secrets—switched babies, hidden identities, a son who was raised outside the family. The danger isn't just coming for Qing Yanshen; it's already inside the house. And Jiang Qingmi? She's completely unaware of any of this. She's worried about knitted shoes and steamed buns and whether she can afford groceries, while the entire Qing family machinery is turning to find the man she's living with. The tension between these two worlds—the warm, messy, poor life they've built and the cold, dangerous, wealthy world that's closing in—is what makes this book unputdownable. Every chapter feels like the calm before a storm that's already forming on the horizon.
It's slice of life, eastern style urban fantasy, wuxia lite in a modern setting. It's surprisingly good and wholesome to read. Highly recommend it.
Give it a try ?Its fun and pretty nice to read novels like this. This is a gem for sure.no cap frfr istgThis novel has the same vibes of that of "The Legendary Mechanic
Characters are boring, dialogue is terrible and the grammar is even worse. Whenever he starts writing in all caps to make the MC sound angry (i think? only reason i could think of) it just looks terribly cringe and edgy. Had potential, but all characters are so bland that its like eating good looking food that has absolutely no spice or taste.
??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
One of the best Harem novels I've read yet, where the character doesn't mindlessly increase his harem. Perfect balance between romance and action. Highly recommend.
A really interesting story, but somewhat vague. I am not 100% certain about the whole story background, but hopefully, we will receive more information as the story develops
Interesting read, with an MC who is easily triggered. Pinyin translation doesn't really affect the quality of the story in a negative way. You'll get used to the pinyin words real fast if you're open to new things, and I guess that's the translator's style of translating so there's no need to drop it just because a few pinyin words aren't your cup of tea.
