Just one word..This is awesome.Characters are very well designed .Plot is good.you won't feel bored reading this one.MC actually thinks before acting and there are no bull**** fillers .to be honest it is a good change of pace .

I really had to force myself to read the first ten chapters to give the story a chance.Like with The Strongest Gene, the “science” in this novel makes me feel like I’m bashing my head into a wall. One hundred percent does not equal 100% in this series. If you don’t understand a lick of science, then make the series pure fantasy! Amino acids and the function of turning genes on and off aren’t mentioned. Why aren’t viruses used for genetic modification? Did people from the future forget how to splice genes? Furthermore, if you’re in a clan, then isn’t there a good chance that you are related and share the same genes? Why are there “formulas” and “equations” for genes? I would have thought the translators chose the wrong term and wrote “gene” instead of whatever was meant, but DNA is specifically mentioned in the second chapter. The author’s ideas on evolution are… interesting, even if they don’t make a lick of sense. Pluto returned to being a planet. The complications of pioneering through space and colonizing various habitats with different gravities is completely left out. Also, the author seems to have forgotten about the planets in other galaxies and that everything in space is constantly moving and isn’t going to stay in one place.….Why are math and the sciences classified as “literature” in this school? Just wtf…If something is going to be sci-fi, then actually make it sci-fi! There is no science to go along with all this fiction! This is a standard, painfully cliché transmigration story where the person from the past takes over the body of a loser in the future. As usually, the MC starts out quite weak and looked down upon by his clan, but he undergoes magical stat-boosting... There is nothing original here. At all.The story starts off with an information dump so heavy, I almost dropped the series in the first few chapters. This is definitely a series that “tells” the story rather than “shows” it. Impressively boring. Without establishing the character or giving the readers any interest in the plot, the MC just cultivates. That’s right—this may actually be a cultivation novel disguised as a science-fiction.As for characterization, there isn’t any. I guess the MC’s trait is that he’s hard-working? He was from our era, but nothing is revealed about his past life.There is no story or character design, and the background doesn't make a lick of sense. I feel bad for the translation team for having to read this. Not recommended.
Ive read this at mtl before and its TRASH!he started with martial arts and I thought that he would stick with it as ive seen from the flow of the story and I was expecting him to fight immortals with martial art but turns out after about chapter 90 he go looking for ways to cultivate spirit qi, the romance is kinda forced and everyone's IQ kept decreasing after every fugin chapter

Overall, the plot is solid, and I really love the uniqueness of this novel. What stands out the most is how the disciples, especially Xu Yan (the first disciple), get most of the screen time and handle all the classic “Er Gen MC” moments, while the actual MC stays in the background as a powerful and mysterious master. It’s a refreshing twist.As for the translation, it’s generally good, but the inconsistency in names can be frustrating. Sometimes, it feels like even the translator (or maybe the author) gets confused about who’s talking, leading to the wrong name being used. Thankfully, the context and the distinct personalities of the characters make it easy to figure out who’s actually speaking.Another issue is the inconsistency with names for techniques, locations, and realms. For example, the “Great Zhou” country is suddenly called “Da Zhou” in the next chapter. While it means the same thing, it was confusing at first. In later chapters, “Dao” is sometimes translated as “The Way,” which is technically accurate, but I’d prefer it to stay as “Dao” for consistency.There’s also some mix-up between terms like “Realm” and “Domain,” which isn’t a huge deal but still highlights the inconsistency. On top of that, weapons get mistranslated a lot. For instance, Xu Yan uses a sword and Meng Chong uses a knife, but Meng Chong’s knife often gets translated as “sword,” “blade,” or “saber.” I’m guessing this is because all those terms can fall under “sword” in some translations, but it’s still annoying.The cultivation realm of Master, Grandmaster and Great Grandmaster also soemtimes take time to figured out which is being referred to which. Because Grandmaster is higher than Master but Great Grandmaster is equal to Grandmaster in some case.Overall, it’s a great story with some minor translation hiccups.
Like most Chinese novels I like it at the beginning but once the MC get to the point, he can interact at an international level it becomes highly racist. The laid-back fishing cultivation novel quickly becomes your standard novel where everyone kills for the most minor benefits. The MC even with having unlimited resources with his fishing well still fights the poor people on Earth slaughtering them for their scraps when he has zero need for them.He picks up an 11-year-old girl and teaches her cultivation but as they are leaving the planet she just dies randomly after 500 chapters of development for no reason. I liked it at first but now I think any Chinese novel that takes place on Earth will be good in the beginning before eventually becoming a racist joke.

This story doesn't make any sense at all are you saying that an insignificant soul of THIS mortal is capable of affecting this god king, if so then you need to redo your power scaling because the soul of a this MC and his kind (God King Cultivator) is EXTREMELY lemme pin for you really EXTREMELY weak as weak as the mortal of the earth, from what i know cultivators have strong spiritual/mental strength that's why i'm telling you that you better come with a good friend excuse or redo the entire power scaling of the Mc's kind.What bothers me is how soft-hearted the Mc is(not saying he needs to be a typical chinese protag) going so far as to thank the previous owner of the body with that kind of personality is something you wouldn't expect to a being who claim to have walk and pave a path of blood and war to himself which made him look like a p*ssy to me.Again the fricking soul is what bothering me the most how fricking weak this cultivator must be to be affected by one insignificant mortal soul???
Okay so I just started reading this but does the story get out from the forced "lucky" encounters and just happening to meet gramps who was going to die and just happening to have an antidote and the gramps family comes to plead for mc's help instead of being suspicious about him when he like 5min before said that the gramps is in danger and then he is poisoned? Oh and the gramps doesn't even ask what happened but just says that oh you saved me here take this card and you can have all the free sh*t you want...
