I can look past not being OP, I usually prefer not OP MC and actually train and persevere to gain power. But yeah other than that. "Oh Brother! THIS GUY SUCKS!"
This is a wonderful story. I loved reading about 250 chapters before losing interest.
It's main failing is that the world is limited in scope because the world-building is limited to the 7 families. There is nothing else about the world to fascinate us or for the story to progress. The power progression is also very fast, so we aren't seeing the characters slowly become strong. It writes itself into a corner.

Wow, just wow . This book is really a break from all others that I've read . Quite captivating and suspensive . The author did a great job and I would say kudos to you .
Is there a chance that there will be continuation for this? How about Mrs. He? The reunion of Bo's? Also Jiu hasn't met the Qin and An Family yet. Plus the plot twist at the end was sooooo cliff hanging. I'm still wishing for moreeeee
To me this novel is frustrating. First I know why people don't care for the Harem tag. It usually means that the MC will have a bunch of superficial relationships with many woman. It doesn't have to mean that but it usually does. My criteria for this kind of novel is to build and keep a relationship and have that relationship around and active for most the time. It seems most authors can't manage that because it would require some chapters and some paragraphs in non relational chapters to be present all the time. If it is multiple women in the relationship that is fine but it must not be superficial. Now this novel ... just superficial
It's not a bad read, it has plenty of funny moments. Though it has lots of racist comedy, so if you're not able to stomach stuff like that this probably isn't for you. Sadly the story will never be finished as the author was shut down by the Chinese SARFT for what I assume was criticizing them for being corrupt, which is hilariously ironic.
This story. Don’t care what happens to Lucas but do get a Wilson back together with Clara quickly and then end this story!
Love this book! Just be prepared for the twists & turns for our dear Kate (like a telenovela!)but they are worth it for how it finishes! It’s not really the end yet though since there are two more books available to continue for their journeys & I’m excited to start the next book! Must read!
Loved this book! Although I had hoped for a little more closure on some secondary storylines. Still had a great story arch for the main plot.
pity it sounds like it will be a super long novel and will cost too much to read. so not going to bother to start reading it. sorry
