The narrative has a familiar feel, akin to someone who maxed out their character in a game and restarted it purely out of love for the gameplay. In Rakku's case, it's because he enjoys being an adventurer. The story is enjoyable due to Rakku's humble nature, unlike the often arrogant main characters in Japanese media. His friendships, especially the strong bond with his male companions, add warmth, and the focus on his leisurely adventures as an ordinary person keeps the atmosphere light. Despite its appeal, I'm assigning it four stars since I reserve my highest ratings for exceptional works.
The narrative centers around an intense and all-consuming love between the two characters, transcending their different species. As the story progresses, the main character (ML) gradually uncovers the truth about the monster-like MC but accepts him wholeheartedly without a second thought. It's amusing how MC struggles to keep his secret, only to have ML assist him in hiding it, knowing full well. Personally, I find this intriguing, as it reminds me of another genre I've enjoyed, like "Mother of Insects." Although it might not appeal to everyone, the writing, pacing, character development, and plot are exceptional and engaging. It's definitely worth the time to delve into this story.
Is it fine to skip this arc or it's connected to the others ??
It is undecided in the end. He seems to lean towards one of the two potential love interests that were there since the start, then right near the end best girl decides to join the race, refuses his refusal and proudly and openly declares that since he technically didn't reject her, she can just build a relationship with him over time.
Agnes >> every other girl, fite me
Exactly. Good if you understand.
I feel bad for Tianpi huwaaaa its not fair for him!!! Tbh i find the ML super annoying pftt. Moreover there are too many brainless enemy with super cliche schemes. I find them too stupid ughh im so mad will reading everything but i still read it until the end because of backstory about FL and Tianpi?
You should definitely try rebirth strongest empress...you won't find the ML until like 700-800 chapters!! ?

This novel stands out among typical power fantasy isekai stories with its above-average quality. The translation is exceptional, and the protagonist isn't a one-dimensional character. What sets it apart is its well-crafted slice-of-life elements.
However, there are a few drawbacks. The main character's personality can be off-putting at times, particularly due to his excessive use of profanity. While swearing can enhance a story when used appropriately, in this case, it feels forced just to establish the character as edgy. It gives the impression of a 12-13-year-old's writing rather than a mature narrative.
Additionally, given the current year (2024), the constant references to the main character's age might come across as outdated, akin to watching older Disney cartoons that don't resonate with contemporary sensibilities.
The issue pertains to the Novel Update (NU) page for this particular book. Chapters 1 to 32, which were translated by Keztranslations, are currently absent from the chapter listing. I recall them being displayed normally a few months ago, considering I've had this novel on my reading list for quite some time.
I'm unsure how to alert a NU moderator directly, so if any fellow reader comes across this message and is experiencing the same problem, kindly bring this matter to their attention.
As an avid reader, I found "My Doctor Son-in-Law, Clarence" an engaging and heartwarming tale. The author deftly weaves a compelling narrative that explores the complexities of family dynamics and the unexpected bonds formed through shared experiences. Clarence's character, a doctor with a compassionate soul, adds depth to the story, resonating with readers who appreciate the human touch in professional relationships. The blend of humor and drama kept me hooked until the end, making this a delightful read that left me reflecting on the power of love and understanding.
