I appreciate the author for making me dislike Gong and not feeling sorry for him; it keeps me engaged to continue reading without stopping. I have a deep affection for the MC, who doesn't hold back and takes decisive action against Gong.
I've always had a soft spot for Editor B; our ship has been sailing since the beginning. Although the ending is open-ended, I can picture them together in the end, which suits me fine. This novel eerily hits close to home at times, and there were moments where I was genuinely scared. Gong's actions truly deserve the consequences; how could he cheat on his childhood sweetheart for ten years? I believe in zero tolerance for cheating, especially when it involves the wrong person.
If you're looking for a refreshing change from the typical kind MC who forgives everyone, this might be the story for you. It's a sad reality that despite the MC's love for Gong, he ultimately realizes the latter's betrayal and relies on friendships with characters like Editor B and the Film Emperor, even if they're being used.

Honestly… there’s no one that would be so hard headed and determined to die, than the enemies of this MC. You just see him within the space of a few months, go from being super weak, to being able to defeat your masters with a single slap, masters that have cultivated for hundreds of years, people who you shake in fear over when they look in your direction, yet somehow you who is far weaker than said master, is still intent on provoking MC… to the point of either harming his brothers or women, especially a pregnant one… NO ONE WOULD DO THAT EVEN IF YOU THINK WITH YOUR TOES! The point “powerhouse is king” is made so many times, yet somehow the entire universe seems to forget this, when it comes to the MC? Every time? Come on now. Be for real.You even see the MC raise some disciples, to being stronger than the entire sect in the span of two months, yet you still think “no one can offend me, he must die!”? Seriously, no one would chase death so hard

the translation is just absolutely garbage I've read like 900 chapters and at first the story gets us hooked but like after 700 chapters it get very slow and boring

I don't know, the book isn't that bad. Actually, the idea of the dimensional gate and the character cards are unique, she could use their ability and get possessed by them, but she can still retain her own personality. However, as the story goes on, it became boring, the MC doesn't really have a fixed goal, she's a slated fish who wants to be low-key popular, like any other normal student dreams to be. Though, I think her normal personality is what makes it boring, though there's indeed some interesting parts of the story, I can't help but feel that it's lacking something. Her personality is complicated, it had the vanity of a youth when she's daydreaming and the laid back personality that every student want to enjoy, but it's really lacking since she doesn't have a goal that she wanted to take. She just go along with the flow and I think it's boring. Sure, living her life would be amazing, but it's not suitable for a story.
