It's been months since I have touched novels, time sure flies. They even force you to download the app now huh. This novel is quite ok for today's standard (after the great yet sad purge of millions of novels in China). I quite liked reading novels where they showed us that the conflicts aren't about slaves (i.e. citizens) but they lie in this slave-master relationship. Now you won't read these. R.vent I.n.anity is only one example, but there were so many more that gave you a better view on the reality you live in.Countries with invisible borders that are pretty much owned slave plantations.Democracy that is nothing more than majority-approvedimmoral violence.Elections that always only contain one choice - to be a slave - while voting is an act of violence towards those who don't.And the blind belief in authority. Flip history books, it's this belief that makes millions of obedient slaves harm and hurt others for their masters.Cheers
good novel..............................
Leaving a review, please don't mind me. I know nothing about this novel at all. Please enjoy your reading experience ..............................................................................
Plotholes aplenty alongside a pussy MC makes me not even want to read this novel. Side characters are NPCs and the novel is 3 at best (doesn't deserve the 5 star rating imo). Stop fake reviewing other people and actually review said novel dummies. Just for the fake reviews I'm tossing it down to 2 stars.
What is this? What has webnovel turned into lol, look at how they do locked chapters now. .................................................................
this novel is trash reading 10 chapters I don't think I have capability to read this trash any longer I mean mc sisters are all crazy for him practically there is not normal siblings bond rather than it is harem novel with his sisters It is really disgusting ? for me
Writing Quality: Terrible (1)Stability of updates: let there be confusion (3)Plot Development: Yes...just no (1)Character Design: China (2)Prehistory of the World: China (1)Verdict: A piece of China nonsense. I do not advise.
Best and hardest story to make a fanfic but author u done it and it is also good but you are misnaming some character (mc of your story and real story) and what timeline this story occurs??and where is (real story MC's) senior brother and junior sister??? . Finally waiting for fast chapters to read ?
This has to be the cringiest but funniest thing I've read in years! This is such an amazing story/idea. Fix the writing quality a bit. I would like to rewrite this, but I need the authors pass first :)
To Legge, the translator. Thank you kind sir, for translating this wonderful novel. You are one of the best translator I knew, and I will continue to support your works. RI RECOMMEND THIS BOOK TO ALL THE OLD TIME READERS.
Let me just say this out loud: Jiang Yuanyuan has more people trying to kill or harm her than most protagonists in entire series, and she's still up here buying vegetables and embroidering handkerchiefs. The stakes in this novel are INSANE and the author never lets up. Think about it. Her own family sold her. The neighbors are actively hostile—Scholar Sun's family tramples her crops, Aunt Zhang refuses to even look at her. Granny Yu is conspiring with a disabled man to assault her. And she's just... dealing with it. One by one. The Scholar Sun incident could've escalated into a full village confrontation, but she chooses to let it go. Not because she's weak—because she's calculating. She knows she needs Chu Jing more than she needs to win a petty dispute over cabbages. But the real stakes hit when Zhang the Lame gets involved. This isn't just another neighbor dispute—this is a life-or-death situation. If Chu Jing hadn't shown up, if Jiang Yuanyuan had been alone, the consequences would've been catastrophic. And the author makes you feel every second of that helplessness. When Zhang the Lame says "Just submit to me quietly. As long as I have food, you won't go hungry!" you can feel the humiliation radiating off the page. What makes this work so well is that the stakes keep escalating while Jiang Yuanyuan's resources keep shrinking. She's poor, she's alone in a hostile village, and she's trying to build a life with someone who barely speaks to her. But she's also the most resourceful person I've ever read. The iron nails, the embroidery money, the strategic relationships—she's playing chess while everyone else is playing checkers. And Chu Jing? He started as a purchased servant and now he's literally beating men unconscious to save her. The stakes for him are different—he's risking his own safety, his own freedom, for someone who isn't his master anymore. That shift in power dynamics is what makes the conflict so compelling. She bought him, but he's the one protecting her now.
I am not really a fan of werewolves, but this got me!! What more for the peeps who like werewolves! I am willing to read this~ ? Thanks, author!
