Just like the intro said, this novel is a very good novel like Lord of the Mysteries, First Order and Sword of Daybreaker. I can't to read this novel but I wanna read this when the chapter reaches atleast 500
One of the better written cultivation stories. Doesn't have super-rapid power growth, or ridiculous "enemy-of-the-week" type foes to outgrow and then humiliate. Rather, focuses on character development and more rationally driven human interaction, with subtle plots and schemes lurking in the background.

Hmm, there used to be a similar novel about a guy who saw narratives but could only change one word of it. Could anyone tell me original title? I remember it wasn't chosen in the pilot read....
Okay so... I need to read more but so far it is a very rough story. I'm two chapters in and there are already a ridiculous amount issues. Grammer for one, using male pronouns instead of female and confusing the reader is a big one. There are also already some plot issues I see on the horizon. Honestly, I think that the premise is good but it just needs more work and thought. Could also use someone to go through and help with grammar. I will try to continue and may update the review if there is any improvement in quality, character depth, or flow vs forced plot.
Seriously, I regret reading this one. If you are reading this before you read the novel then just stop. I mean it. If you are already reading it, wishing that it will get better then just stop. It will never get better and it will just repeat the old trope of 'my fiancee/friend is kidnapped so I must power up.'I started reading the novel yesterday and I think it's readable at first. 'Cliche powerless transmigrator has a fiancee that gets bought over by a rich man with awesomely high position in the kingdom and to take revenge, the author will give him the godly plot armor.' I'm very interested in this kind of story and I've already read many kinds of novel with the same pattern. They also get utterly bad reviews but nonetheless I still enjoyed them and read them until the end.But damn this novel is utterly bad that I had to waste my time just to write this review.It started interesting to me. MC beats everyone up except the elders who are too strong but it gets annoying as time goes on since MC just can't resolve himself to kill since he is so righteous and his principles will never be broken even if he dies.This is common. It is annoying but the exciting story on how MC will achieve greater reward in the end becoming the thug life of the country and everyone kneels to him makes me enjoy the story.But this novel didn't give a **** about that...In this novel, MC is just a frustrated kid crawling amidst endless storm that just come to him for no freaking reason. All of the young masters are horny for his fiancee, friends and even his treasures. If that's not all, those young masters will not stop at that. The first MC's rival don't even have a shred of pretense and will just keep on sending minions to annoy the MC to death. And this trope of sending troubles will just repeat itself until even the graves of the ancestors of the enemy will crawl up just to make the MC suffer.Of course MC will not die because that would be the end of the story. Random treasures will randomly appear under his feet. Random breakthroughs because those treasures are not completely refined.That's fine in all. It is a cliche in eastern fantasy novel but damn this always happen even afters 400 chapters had already passed.MC has a time cheat where his body will be in a state of time acceleration making him cultivate in almost 500x faster than anybody in real time. And this cheat was never showed its potential at all. It's just a cheat to compensate for his talent which is basically none at all. Author will just randomly say out of nowhere in the fight that MC used his time cheat to comprehend this godly techniques before the fight and boom enemy defeated.Seriously I started loving this novel when Su Yu entered the arc where he was taken in by the Duke to be fostered as a talent and marry the main heroine Xianer but author just flipped the entire novel's potential when everything was in chaos. The prince of the kingdom raided the Duke's palace with a fake imperial edict and now everything is fked. This chapter started the endless cycle of power up and revenge. Story cycle:Friend/Fiancee Kidnapped - - - -> MC powers up by going around the mountaind randomly stepping in godly cultivation treasures - - - - -> Badass MC comes face slapping everyone in his path -------> MC will beat up main target of revenge but all of enemy's allies from the elders, patriarchs, or even the rotting ancestors in the graves will rise up just to beat up the MC until he is coughing up blood in regret asking why the heaven is so cruel - - - - - -> MC will almost die and suddenly discovers a random cave where he will breakthrough to an unknown realm - - - - - - > An even more badass MC will come out with a change of hair color and more handsome than before. He will face slap everyone until he meets an elder who actually has a connection to a powerful sect - - - > Gets beaten down until gets his a$$ saved by a random person - - - > RINSE AND REPEAT
Interesting conceptIt was good until he became a friend for benefit in his new school the fourth academy where he keep giving money to his so called friends then when it come to fighting and dangerous place he got to be in the most dangerous place ... Just why did he go there in the first place

Let's start with translation quality. This novel has without a doubt one of the best, if not the best translators out there. I can't read Chinese so I can't judge on how close it is to home, but I can judge its grammar and whether it can drag me in and allow me to immerse myself. The translators do exactly that. A few mistakes here and there, but I'm sure they'll be corrected in the near future (they are quite minor to begin with). Updating stability: Well. That's all really. I don't have any complaints. I guess I can praise you for it. So 5 stars for that. Now here's where it goes wrong.Story development: I'm up to date with the translation, and my God is it repetitive. The author really just recycles his plots and replaces the MC's counter attack with a different poem or calligraphy or whatever he's using at that moment. At first you see him really grow into his new life and the story progresses as he gets closer to his dream. As he moves from one place to another he's knowledge and his 'convenient ring' allows the story to move to different angles ergo better development. However once you get past a few hundred chapters it really gets to you. The author uses the same plot over and over and it really feels like a waste of opportunities. How about bringing in a character that's in both worlds in the present, not just in history? How about a character who's also from the world he is? Or a different world? Many many opportunities wasted. Which brings me to my next point...Character development/design: Oh jeez. It is so bad. Let's start with the good. The main character continues to develop over the course of the novel and you really see him stubborn to his nature. The novel shows how uncompromising he is, in all situations. It makes you wonder when he'll fall and fail to keep up. Granted the 'convinient ring' is the means to let the story develop alongside the MC, it's well done and keeps you intrigued. I mean, I am up to date for a reason. Now the rest. Apart from the MC, there really isn't any other character who stands out or has any development. They're really just thrown aside and brought back to praise the all mighty plagiarism warrior. To top it off, the author doesn't seem to want to bring back old instances or events between the side characters and the MC. It really is a shame that the characters only get their moment in passing. What ticks me off though, is that previous events just don't have an influence on the present. For example, what happened to the little flick between Dong Shanshan and Zhang Ye? Why is it never mentioned, especially in the last hundred chapters or so? It's as if the author really just forgot it ever happened. Another problem is that all the female characters are really the same. Apart from the 'high profile' females (who's development are really just negligible) the rest are the same. They all just whine and cry. Really. That's it. Then you have Chenchen, who I see as immense story potential. She has a few chapters dedicated to her, but that seems to be it. An intelligent yet cute girl, who can easily be used to form a new plot for the main story. Imagine if she was to join the industry with Zhang Ye, imagine the possibilities?! Then there's his old crew! And Old Wu. OLD WU! Develop her some more, I beg you. I'm really just using this review to rant. World building is fine, albeit a bit convenient. There's no need to stress over it. Although how and why the 'convinient ring' exist would be nice and how he got to where he is would also be nice. But it's not that kind of novel. All in all. The character development just lets the novel down. The story is repetitive and at times just, "Yeah, that was obvious."The world building is fine. But I have to shower love to the translation crew. I'll continue to read this till the end, simply because the translation allows me to immerse myself. So props to the translation crew. But that's all from me and my rant/review/essay, which ever pleases you.
