Please maintain the pace well, and don't rush to add more women in short time. It's kinda annoying if you add too many women in short time.

honestly, a lot of versatility, many friends and family, the protagonist seems to be passive, the premise that made me want to read the novel was a samurai, a man of “honor” who kills without blinking an eye. I can't stand to see if the MC gets to this, a lot of bull****, thanks for the romance.
I have to talk about the dialogue between Qin Yuzheng and Qiu Jinyi because it is genuinely one of the funniest scenes I've read in a romance novel and I don't even care that it's not really a comedy. The whole setup is brilliant. Here's this man who has spent thirty-five years never having felt sexual desire, who can discuss policy documents and political maneuvering with absolute precision, and who cannot bring himself to tell his doctor friend that he had a wet dream. The silence in that consultation room? Perfect. The author doesn't over-explain it. Qin Yuzheng just sits there, tapping his fingers, unable to form the words. And Qiu Jinyi—oh my god, Qiu Jinyi is the best friend character ever written. The way he pieces things together: "Did... it finally happen?" and then Qin Yuzheng's ears turning red is the most economical character work I've seen. Two sentences and you know everything about this friendship. The dialogue throughout is so natural too. No one sounds like they're reciting lines. Even the secretary's text messages feel like actual WeChat messages. And Qin Yuzheng's internal monologue—"How exactly was a thirty-five-year-old man supposed to admit he'd had a wet dream?"—is hilarious because it's so painfully honest. The narrative voice itself is also worth noting. It's close third person, staying almost entirely within Qin Yuzheng's perspective for the first two chapters, and it captures his voice perfectly: clipped, precise, occasionally vulnerable, always trying to maintain control. When he says "No" to the examination and walks out, that single word says everything.
I love this book! What is your IG info, I want to follow you.
