Very well done. The story flows like smooth butter! I like where it is going (as of chap 37), and really hope you don’t drop it. If you can increase releases a bit it would be even more perfect :)
Listen. I started The Fire We Feed thinking, “Oh, just one chapter before bed.” ALWAYS THE BIGGEST LIE OF MY LIFE. Next thing I know, it’s 4AM, I’m emotionally compromised, and I want to both fight and kiss half the cast.Taryn? Certified badass. She could stab me and I’d say thank you. She’s grumpy, traumatized, and refuses to acknowledge feelings unless they’re violent. I respect her deeply.Lucien? I HATE THAT I LOVE HIM. This smug, flirty, insufferable vampire knows exactly what he’s doing and I’m FALLING FOR IT. Every time he calls her “Warrior” in that cocky little voice, I LOSE MY MIND. And the way he worships her?? Sir, get a grip. (No, actually, never stop.)And Kah’el?? Sir, why do you have the emotional depth of an ocean but refuse to admit it?? The way he looks at her, the way he lingers just enough for me to suffer. And don’t even get me started on the tension between him and Lucien. Is this a love triangle? Is this something else entirely?? I DON’T KNOW AND I’M FERAL ABOUT IT.The plot? Absolutely unhinged in the best way. One minute they’re running for their lives, the next minute someone’s getting pinned against a wall, then they are having a quiet dinner and I’M JUST TRYING TO BREATHE. The tension is out of control, the banter is lethal, and the vampire bites and smut?? SPICY.Final thoughts: This book has RUINED me. I will never emotionally recover. If you love fantasy, sizzling slow burn romance, and characters who make the WORST (best) decisions, READ THIS. But beware: once you start, you’re not getting out.9/10, will cry and reread. ??
what a wonderful piece, with a captivating title
The new thing for me reading this impressive novel, I started to like system novels is how sophisticated a program is to shape the hero to be strong. Great imagination, keep it up!
I am hooked. The main character is interesting. I like how the author explores what the MC is about. The world building is cool, I want to know more about the world and explore it through the MC's eyes. Was impressed with the progression, the pacing is done well. Fun characters. I like it :) Looking forward to more. Note to any new readers: the grammar is a little shaky at times , but you can still easily comprehend what is being said.
Reading all of the chapters in one sitting, I can clearly say that I quite enjoyed them. Can't wait for the future chaps...
When I first started reading, I didn't expect much from this but it has easily become one of my favorite novels being released here on webnovel. I absolutely recommend reading this book if you're on the edge.
A must read novel for people who love dark stories
considering that this review is for the reward I think that I owe you 5 stars
This book is going to be one of the biggest books on this app so watch out?♥️❤️?
An interesting story. Can't wait to read each chapter.
this story focuses on way to many people. you start getting into one part then author leaves the person to focus on someone else. mc does not have any intelligence, the system is useless, mc father is a piece of trash, but everyone respects him and treats him the same. the author wants to tell 12 stories at the same time and it ruins the story. after chapter 67 the story doesnt focus on mc for 33 chapters then still jumps around. i tried only reading the chapters where i saw mc name at in the first couple paragraphs and it is mostly him getting beat up and slime coming to the rescue. my biggest issue is that the father gets too many chapters focusing on him. the shitty father gets more chapters than mc.
