Let me make an analogy: If two guys are trying to convince a women to date them, and one of them is her childhood friend while the other met her an hour ago, if she picks the one who was her childhood friend it doesn't mean the other guy is unattractive. Similarly, the final chapter doesn't mean Fang Lin is a better schemer, just that he had more time to plan things out. The author apparently doesn't know how scheming works.
If this guy ain't the MC he be already dead and not reach chapter 100. He's too flashy and don't know how to be low-key

I didn't think I would like this novel at first. The cover and the description didn't catch my attention. But once I started reading, I couldn't put it down. The story and characters pulled me in and kept me hooked.

Genuinly such a joy to read. Super well worded. The characters are impossible not to love and are funny! The world is a mixture of Harry Potter and elements of Murim. The MC also doesn't just get an instant buff to become OP, but is granted a path towards it that requires hard work. The best part for me is how each character has a good deal of depth to them that slowly gets unveiled. Everything also feels so natural (with exception to the main advantage the MC has which is the premise of the book).
Overall top notch book.

At first the story presented was quite interesting even though it was quite cliche and I decided to continue reading it. But more and more I realized mistakes like how the author presented mc stats. I don't know how the author does the calculation for stats. for example mc just raise lvl from 4 to 6 with 22000 exp (before). While 23000 exp raises 6 lvl when mc himself has a higher lvl than before. Another example is how author calculate free point stat mc gained from skill. So for me if the author wants to present a story with a frequently mentioned stat. The author must be able to calculate accurately the progres of mc stat.

And how the background of the world is explained is quite simple by presenting that everything about things like monsters and other information is available from the core dungeon
I love what's going on here, I can usually see a storyline a mile away, but this one has me guessing, and it's keeping my attention at the same time. alot of stories I read end up boring me if I can see what's going on at some level, and the same if it's too transparent, this one has a great middle of the road for me. luv it.
