Just appearing before the boss room gave shivers to everyone. I thought this boss room was odd, definitely not a normal boss room. We entered the room and we saw big statues all around the room stone look like. There was no monster, just statues. It was very silent. How do we clear the mission if there aren't any monsters? There was a big statue sitting on a chair, he must be the king. We thought these statues were normal but it changed when the big statues (King) got up. He was gigantic. We all got scared and started attacking it and it did no damage whatsoever. We cannot leave this dungeon unless we defeat the boss. The other monster also joined the battle. We had no chance defeating this room. The king picked up a sword and swing it toward our direction, with only one wing half of us were dead. The corpse made us even more scared. I looked around the room and saw some phrases. Maybe this phrases are a set of rules that we have to follow for our survival. I read the phrases and thought of it a couple of times and finally understood what it meant. The first rule is to show respect the king. I told everyone in the room to kneel to the boss. No one believed me. The boss swung his sword again and another one died. Everyone just gave up and kneeled on the ground. The king stopped attacking. It worked but for how long. I read the 2nd rule, and tried to understand it. The other statues, then started moving toward us and their intent was to kill. These underling were not to be underestimated either. I try to understand the rule again and finally told everyone to go to statues that were holding a weapon and were not moving. The member listened to me since they didn't have much of a choice. Another one died when he was trying to reach the statues. Only 3 of were left Me, Mary and the captain. We all reached to the monsters with no weapons and the monsters stopped attacking us. Then a circle in the middle of the boss room lit up. I told everyone to reach the circle. When we all reached the circle, a gate opened up. An exit, we were going to be safe. The captain left the toward the direction of the exit and some of the fires that were lit around the circle were blown out. I concluded that at least one of us have to stay in this circle for the door to be remaining open. My leg was badly injured when I was trying to reach the monster with no weapons previously. I couldn't leave even if I wanted. I told other to leave. At least I was useful in keeping my team members alive. I was happy yet sad. My best friend Mary stated crying and said I don't want to leave without you. I told Mary to leave your life and become a stronger person. I told the captain to take her seeing the conditions. The captain nodded and knocked out Mary. The captain thanked me. He said "I thought you were the most useless person but its cause you that we have survived. I was the most actually the useless person. I didn't do my job right. I feel sorry for leaving you. If it wasn't for your leg, I would've made the sacrifice. I thank you from the bottom of my heart". Mary and captain were walking toward the door. I saw them disappearing from my view. I was left alone bleeding. I was losing conscious.
