webnovel is getting wild these days. bad translations and tons of useless monologues that take up space. listen i need quality novels on trial read, not trash. i could literally pick out the best ones on the site and do a better job. its been months since we've seen quality novels make it and not be drowned in garbage novels

It seems interesting, but there are many arcs the same as other novels, such as a 5year duel contract with a princess of the sea race, the valley of frozen beasts, the multi-tailed tanuki pet/lover etc

Unique characters with tons of comedic interplay between them. They all have their own motives and desires. This also lends itself to gradually revealing more and more of the backstory. The characters, despite some of their unlikable behavior, do manage to grow on you.... like a foot fungus maybe, but it still count. ???
