A pair of Buddhist verses hanging on the wall of the meditation room at Baiyun Nunnery. The verse reads: When the preceding state is absent, the mind is absent; sin and merit arise and vanish like illusions. They are the most eye-catching feature in the otherwise ordinary meditation room.
