An ingenious yet deadly trap crafted by Lin Wan using flexible thorn branches and sturdy mountain vines. The loop is hidden beneath dead leaves on a game trail, with the other end tied to a young sapling bent under tension. When an animal steps on the trigger, the sapling springs upright, the noose tightens instantly, and the prey is lifted helplessly into the air. Lin Wan set three connected snares and successfully caught two rabbits.
