A crude stone stove built by Qin Ziheng to help Mao Xiaoshu cook. It is about forty centimeters tall, C-shaped, with a gap for feeding firewood. Qin Ziheng taught Mao Xiaoshu how to stack the uneven stones properly, placing the flatter one on the bottom for stability.
