The protagonist, a fourteen-year-old (nearly sixteen) female royal heir of Northern Yue who was raised as a prince. She is skilled in swordsmanship with notable Sword Intent, playful and youthful in nature, yet well-trained in palace etiquette. She has a close bond with her mother Zi Sang Mu, her maid Jin Yu, and the Shadow Guard Qian Yu. She discovers she is biologically female when she experiences her first menstruation (Kuishui). She was raised without knowledge of her true gender. She is the daughter of Zi Sang Mu and has a deep love for her mother despite the strict upbringing.
